I’m just wondering because I was reading about the scarlet woman and Babalon and feminine energy was mentioned a lot. What role does it play?

Personally I am not a fan of “feminine and masculine energy” type stuff in religion/occult/spirituality and I am interested in Thelema but this is putting me off a bit.

Also with the scarlet woman, is there a reason it’s a role for women only? Like men can only truly spiritually progress with a woman? Why couldn’t a man perform the same role? It seems as if women are spiritually superior and men should look to them for spiritual progression while women can aim to embody the scarlet woman themselves .

Of course, I am still new so please correct me. I want to learn

Why does Thelema use the names of kemetic deities or spell them differently? Like calling Hathor Hahathor? I’m just wondering if there’s a reason for this or I might be misunderstanding
