I am starting to become interested in creating handmade doll clothes, like replicas of current doll clothes, or modern outfits.
Is it hard? What would you all recommend to start?
Has anyone had any luck trading a doll for some outfits?
I made a post a couple days ago about how I lost all my doll clothes in my November move. I have a few things licking around that I’m not interested in, and I was hoping to trade for a different doll or some outfits.

I’m giving my PC Sam to my wife’s friend’s daughter (I literally can’t bond with her idk why), so idk if I should get her, or someone else🫣 I also want to get some inexpensive clothes since I lost all mine recently, but I also want more dolls💔 HELP😭

I finally have Emily and I was able to get a new Nellie🥰 now, I’m just missing Ivy and Elizabeth (have to get Lissy first lol)
Hopefully I’ll be able to trade my Kit and Sam soon🥰 hoping to get some new outfits soon so everyone can get a new look!
My wife and I moved from our apartment that we had lived in since 2022 to a house we’re renting in November.
During that time, my uncle asked me to take a trip with him, my grandmother, and my great aunt to his house. After talking with my wife, she agreed I should go (I never ever do things for myself. And I needed time with people during the holidays who remember my mom who passed when I was 17) and she, my parents (dad and stepmom), and my siblings would finish up the move.
I got back Mid December, and I could not find any of my dolls clothes. I had a big white bag full of PC/Vintage historical and GOT clothes. My wife swore up and down it is somewhere in the house. Seeing as we hadn’t unpacked yet, I figured I’d find it eventually.
Flash forward to now, it’s May. I have unpacked everything. Torn apart the car, every room, every closet, nothing. Which means, my wife either left it at the apartment, or she accidentally put it in a bag to be thrown away.
I am beyond devastated. I spent over 3 years collecting those items, things that I will not be able to afford to replace anytime soon🥲
The only outfits I have left are 2 Raquel outfits my uncle bought me on the trip (one being Raquel’s meet), Julie Floral Jumpsuit that I got for Christmas, Raquel’s pajamas (also bought by my uncle on the trip), and maybe two outfits worth of random items.
I am trying so hard not to be angry or seem annoyed. But, I also was put in a position where I had to sell a few dolls in order to pay rent this month (my car got backed into, I had to help my brother after surgery, and my dog had to be taken to the emergency vet.).
Idk what to do🥲
I made a post a while ago about finding Ruthie and Kit’s bed on FB marketplace for $80. I honestly thought I would like it more than I do… but I don’t think it’s really my thing😭 idk why because everyone seems to love it! Im currently trying to get rid of it, but no luck so far🥲
I’m thinking about getting a second Samantha… I currently have a PC Sam who I like, but I don’t love her the way I’ve hoped. I found someone selling a Samantha along with her Birthday outfit, and I fell in love with her🥹 does anyone else have multiples, or should I trade PC Sam for a different doll?
