I work on the brand side and recently started collaborating with Amazon influencers. I’ve noticed that even when we offer the same commission on our own website, many creators still prefer to only link to their Amazon storefront or affiliate links.
I’m trying to better understand this from your perspective.
If you’re an Amazon influencer, would you usually:
- Stick with your Amazon affiliate link?
- Or be open to linking the brand’s official website (assuming commission is provided)?
Also, what factors influence your decision the most?
- Conversion rate?
- Trust in tracking/payment?
- Audience behavior?
- Or just habit/convenience?
Really appreciate any honest insights — just trying to understand how to make collaborations smoother for both sides.
