Affiliate+ Earnings Not Accurate since 8/15

Anyone else notice that they have little to no earnings for shipped items under the Affiliate+ tab since 8/15?

For context, I do at least $200+ daily in Affiliate+ (Creator Connections) earnings bare minimum. Been that way for months and I've been an affiliate for years.

Suddenly, once 8/15 hit, I have seen earnings go from that to hardly anything (i.e. $30 one day, $17 another). The Sponsored Products for Creators earnings (EPC) seems accurate though, albeit those earnings have fallen over the last month (due to weak payouts - used to CRUSH it on those earnings too).

I reached out to Amazon twice now, and of course, the answer is never the same. One person said that it can take up to 14 days to credit and that is the "new process", but that didn't make much sense when everything else appears to be reporting as normal.

Another said it's due to the change in reporting, but that still offers nothing. I get they condensed the report, but I had TONS of products ship at least 4 items that I accepted campaigns on that don't show in the Creator Connections Affiliate+ report.

Hell, even some where I can see 30+ of one product shipped out aren't even showing up.

Anyway, just wanted to see if anyone else is seeing stuff like this since the 15th of this month? Hoping it updates soon, otherwise what is the point of Creator Connections anymore if we're driving qualified sales to accepted campaigns and not getting paid out on it? Besides that, it's not Amazon who pays these bonus commissions - it's the sellers themselves.

Wouldn't be surprised if they are charging sellers the Creator Connections rates the sellers approved, then just not paying them out to associates and pocketing it. Who knows anymore 🤷‍♂️

EDIT: I am 100% off-site

Sponsored Products Earn Per Click affiliate links

The Sponsored Products EPC affiliate link that we are provided with is much longer than the standard affiliate link.

If a Sponsored Product campaign was to end, and earnings per click stopped, would the longer link still track for regular purchases?

Or are we allowed to use our regular affiliate product links and still earn for clicks from offsite?

Ex: I am copying the longer Sponsored Product EPC affiliate links and posting them on Facebook and I'm wondering if they still track after the campaign ends/or if I even need to use the longer campaign link to earn per click.

The mistake

Hi everyone, I made a mistake: I set up an "Hermes" agent to create articles for one of my sites, and I gave it my affiliate links, which it then clicked on. I didn't mean any harm; honestly, I completely overlooked the fact that the source of the clicks wouldn't match my list of approved sites or apps...

I received an email on Friday asking me to explain clicks that didn't originate from my authorized sources. I'm not sure whether to be honest or not; I'm really afraid they'll close my account. It’s happened before, back then, I replied too quickly without thinking things through... Now I don't know what to do.

What would you do?

Thanks.

This person just steals videos from influencers mostly high ticket items

*** looks like she is on this page and deleted all her videos. I'll keep it in records im sure she will be back.

I noticed when i found 2 of my videos she stole then took a deeper look and all the videos appear to be stolen from other people. Please report to associates@amazon.com . Thanks

Creator Connections revenue suddenly went NEGATIVE — anyone else seeing this?

Our Creator Connections earnings have consistently been around $2K/month and EPC has been similar range 2-3K/month. Traffic and overall Amazon sales haven’t significantly changed.

Now, for the last 30 days, CC reporting is saying I owe them money WTH.

It basically fell off a cliff and went negative.

Is anyone else seeing this with Creator Connections? Did Amazon change something with CC attribution/reporting recently?

Does this happen to you? It tells me that some videos aren't showing up.

Q I uploaded a video of a product weeks ago, and when I go to look for it in the seller's carousel, I don't see it; I only see a carousel of 10 products. Almost all carousels have 10 products

Typical daily reporting delay?

Hey all, I’m relatively new to the platform. I’ve made decent cash since I started and I’ve gotten in the habit of checking my previous day’s commissions each morning.

Some mornings the data seems to come in later than others. This morning, yesterday’s data still isn’t showing up in-app, and I’m seeing it on web, but daily commission is way lower than a typical day.

As a newbie: is this the kind of thing that happens often on this platform? The more I use it, the more archaic and buggy it seems!

Creator Connections payouts down almost 90 percent this week on identical traffic. It's not just you

Seeing a few people mention this so adding my experience. My Creator Connections earnings have dropped every single day for about a week and are now a small fraction of a normal day. Traffic and outbound Amazon clicks stayed completely steady the whole time, and my regular Associates commissions are fine. Only the CC stream collapsed.

It's not one product or one brand. Everything compressed at once. Products are paying roughly a tenth per click of what they paid two weeks ago on the same click volume. I rotated in a brand new product from a campaign with a healthy budget label and it instantly earned at the same compressed rate as everything else, so it's not stale campaigns either.

Two more things I noticed. The product level report got gutted in late July, it now only shows products above roughly 10 clicks, so most of the detail is just gone. And the campaign labels (expected EPC and budget level) haven't changed at all through the whole collapse, so they don't reflect what's actually being paid out.

Others are reporting the same window, roughly the last 3 to 7 days, some seeing clicks halve, some like me seeing the per click payout collapse. If it's hitting accounts with totally different products at the same time, that's an Amazon side change, not our sites. Curious what everyone else's last week looked like.

How do you report to Amazon when a creator isn't putting a disclosure on their posts?

Is there a way to report people who don't put a disclosure on their links that go to amazon?

Creator Connection not being paid

Amazon is refusing to explain to me why my creator connection campaign link is being clicked and items are being ordered but no additional commission is being earn through the campaign.

previous 30 days, I have had 240 clicks with 19 shipped items only through the campaign specific link that is tied to one singular product under one singular seller. The product is the same ASIN # as the campaign is being listed under.

But there has not been one single qualified sale for that creator connection campaign, thus I have not earned any additional creator connection commission.

I have explained this by contacted Amazon Influencer team to help get some additional information. The summary of the response:

  • Matching the ASIN/product is not enough to earn Creator Connections commission.
  • The customer must click your affiliate link specifically tied to that Creator Connections campaign and then purchase the product.
  • Clicks themselves do not earn money. Commission is earned only when a customer makes a qualifying purchase (typically a shipped item) after using your affiliate tracking link.
  • Your store ID alone does not trigger attribution; the purchase must be connected to the appropriate campaign tracking link.
  • If they then choose another seller/brand's version of the product, you may still earn the normal Amazon Associates commission, but you will not receive the Creator Connections bonus commission.
  • currently a reporting delay for Creator Connections earnings. Bonus earnings can take up to 7 days to appear in your earnings report.

Which I have not broken any of the rules that they have said to earn creator connection commission. I am only using Creator Connection Campaign link, there are no other products and under one seller for ASIN, and purchases are made. So far my creator connection said I have 3 orders that are shipped, but non of my active or completed Campaigns shows a purchase or earnings.

Any thoughts on why my creator connection campaign item is not earning the Creator Campaign bonus commission?

What's your deep linking tool of choice this year? + Deep linking info I DID NOT know!

My main affiliate channel is Amazon. I'm also an affiliate for Walmart, TikTok, and others so ill be sharing those links more for offsite commission. I currently use Posttap for Amazon (love it, but 9/10 since it only has a mobile app and not desktop) and I think I'm about to add either Joylink or Markable for my other links.

I used to use linktw.in for everything but they have since changed their entire model and started charging and changing up what you can use for free ! So I'm probably leaving them.

Also, how do you guys feel about the domain name? I've found that when I drop a link off in the wild (like in a comment section), it converts better if the domain name looks like its straight from the retailer. When people see "joylink.io.amz/whatever" they steer away from it, mitigating a sale. Posttap looks like a regular amazon link to the naked eye so I've been loving that.
So bonus if your tool has a custom domain option. Id love to hear which ones you all use!

And did you know for the deep link to work and open the supporting app, the deep linking tool you use has to specify that it works with that app? I had no idea! Example: If you want to share a Target deep link but your tool of choice doesn't have the configuration/ability to open the Target app, it's not really a deep link? It'll only take the to the browser like a non-deep link. Going to the browser is fine if the retailer (or whatever you're linking) doesn't have an app but this is what were trying to get away from because it hurts sale conversion. So make sure your amazon links are supported by your tool!
