Description of Original Problem: since 26.5.1 when my monitor goes into power saving mode I get constant hardware connected / disconnected chimes and my monitor kinda wakes up showing me no NO INPUT then going back to sleep again.
Troubleshooting: I had to downgrade to 26.3.1 which fixes the issue so I strongly suspect this is a new driver bug. I tried a few simple checks like enforcing DP only in my monitor settings or changing the port/cable.
