In defense of Cutler & Gross
I’m a fairly new enthusiast, but very enthusiastic about being an enthusiast of eyewear. I’ve mostly just been observing and commenting here and there. But…Been seeing some disparaging remarks against Cutler and Gross lately lol.
So I figured I’d go ahead and share today.
This is one of my favorite day-to-day go to pair of sunnies.
The 1410 in Havanna on black. I think it retails for about $500 us or something like that. I was on the verge of purchasing with a 10% discount from a nearby store who had them in stock…. When the frame gods placed before me a brand new pair on eBay for just over $300… I took the dive and was rewarded for my courage.
One of the reasons I love this frame is because it was one of the first non-aviator style that I found that fit my larger size temple well*.*
They’re not my number one frame in my collection, but definitely one of my favorite go to for day-to-day outdoor eyewear
But let me know your thoughts folks.
Thinking about getting another pair in black with the blue lens that they recently released.
