Liege tried revoking my title for unknown reasons

I was playing as a custom mage character who started as the viscount of delodiil. Doing the usual life extension things, planning on eventually ruling cyrodiil as an immortal emperor, that sort of thing. At one point I became a necromancer because I figured it being shunned wasnt a problem, since no religion in the region listed it as a crime.

So why did the akaviri potentate try to revoke the imperial isle (which i conquered decades ago) from me? Necromancy wasnt a crime in his religion, it was only shunned. And I didnt commit any other crimes. In fact, his revocation letter didnt even list any actual reason for it other than the standard "i have come to the conclusion you are not fit to rule the imperial isle" text.

Was it a tyrannical revocation or something?

Are you still able to change nativity regions through diverting your culture?

Havent played this mod in well over a year. Wanted to create a divergent riekling race that took over the heartlands. Either I dont remember how to do it, or they changed it. I dont see the option in the diverge culture menu to change the nativity region

Okay, why are foreign rulers suddenly able to wage war for your vassals titles witjout you being able to defend them?

Duje of connacht has a claim on Lancaster and waged war against my duke of Lancaster. If my vassal loses - which they will because they have a tiny amount of troops - Lancaster becomes Irish territory.

Why is the AI now able to stealthily steal land from you all of a sudden?

What kind of stupid mechanic is that? As the king of england, if they are waging war for the duke of Lancasters land, they are waging war for *my* land. And apparently im just supposed to sit around and let it happen because im only allowed to join in if the war has been going on for three years.

Anyone else like remaining a duke and influencing the empire instead of conquering it?

I conquered latium as haesteinn, then conquered a bordering county next to the ERE so I could swear fealty. I honestly like the idea of becoming a very influential duke within the empire, ruling the best duchy in the empire, and having to scheme and plot and strategize instead of constantly conquering land and throwing armies at problems.

I also like the roleplay element. The roman-norse dynasty that helped the ERE reconquer italy, established its own culture in italy after the pagan barbarians integrated, and then spent centuries influencing ERE politics from within. A dynasty of kingmakers instead of kings and emperors, quietly guiding ERE politics from the shadows
