Thinking of doing the Valley of Flowers + Hemkund Sahib trek this June. Assuming less crowd and more peace in June.

I’m a beginner but fairly fit and planning a budget-friendly yet comfortable trip. Probably traveling from Bangalore.

Has anyone done it recently? Would love tips on:

• what would be the best week in June to go

• stays in Ghangaria/Joshimath

• total budget

• things I should absolutely carry

Also if anyone is planning the same trek around the same time and would like to join in between the route as well, let me know! Could be fun to have a travel buddy/group 😀
