I’m F21, been through a lot recently and a lot has been happening so i just want to travel for around 3-4 days preferably in north India only in the beginning August most probably. Solo or with a friend so kindly suggest me affordable places with itinerary if possible.
The places included are Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague and Budapest for a total of 11 days.
If not, then what would be the fair price for this?
Is Valley of flower doable in monsoon season all alone? I am counting Hemkun Sahib trek too in that. Basically a 4-day-trekking experience. Any specific aspects to take care of, apart from shoes and rain covers? Also, any good way to find accomodation in Ghangaria?
Had I had more money I'd have also gone to Lumbini, Pokhra and Janakpur.
Btw I had my first fig(as a fruit and not a dry fruit) there.Total budget for 1 week:- 8.7K Nepalese Rupees (I was backpacking, I know a common language b/w Nepal and India, hence didn't get mistaken for being an Indian, did not pay any tourist price) Manifesting another trip to Nepal✨
so, i just completed my 3 day trip to pondicherry last week. i reached there on thursday night and returned back on sunday night. it was a fun trip! thankfully, the heat wasn't as bad as i expected, and the rain didn't spoil a single day.
cost breakdown:
- ₹5,000 - stay
- ₹2,000 - scooty rental and petrol
- ₹6,000 - food
- ₹2.000 - beer and drinks (bought from local shops and enjoyed them in my room)
- ₹1,000 - miscellaneous (matrimandir parking, svaram sound garden ticket, and a few fridge magnets)
places i visited:
- white town
- french colony
- aurobindo ashram
- rock beach
- serenity beach
- eden beach
- matrimandir view point
- svaram sound garden
i also did quite a bit of café hopping:
- coromandel café - 8.5/10
- mother's café
- le petit four - almond croissant 7.5/10, cold chocolate 4/10 (way too sweet, tasted like sugar syrup)
- bread & chocolate - 7.5/10
- tanto pizzeria - 8/10
- marc's café - 8.5/10
- surguru - 8/10
- kailash parbat - 8.5/10
- A2B - 8/10
overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable trip. pondicherry has a laid back vibe that's perfect for a short weekend getaway.

Following up on my last post, I've finally decided to go to Jibhi for my first-ever solo trip and trekking experience!
I just wanted to ask if July is a good time to visit. I know it's monsoon season, so I'm a little worried about the rain, landslides, and whether the treks are still worth doing.
If anyone has been to Jibhi around this time of the year, I'd love to hear about your experience. Would you recommend going ahead with the trip, or should I wait for a better season?
Thanks in advance!
This community had helped me for my previous solo trips from finding best places, experiences and travel tips. Im back here asking for my next trip
Travel for 3-4 days from Hyderabad. Decently safe places for monsoon. Budget 15-20k excluding flights
- Treks, Hill stations
- Beaches
- National parks
Do drop your suggestions, guys. TIA
I'm a guy, and I currently work from home. With the monsoon here, I really feel like spending some time in the mountains around Kasol or Manali. If anyone is interested in sharing a place as a roommate, let me know
Hi, I am from NCR and looking forward for a trip in July-August, but this trip comes with a twist
I am looking for a trip with a female, to relive that Tamasha movie vibe, stranger- friend- couple feeling all in a trip with fun and laughters
Am open to choose locations and we can mutually decide the same. Let’s plan a trip together if you are interested
Hi, I’m currently in Rishikesh. If anyone wants to join me and explore together let me know! Explore cafés, ghats and temples
Testing the theory that Goa is more fun with strangers than coworkers. 😂 Got some work there, so I'm heading anyway. If anyone wants to join, feel free.

Himachal is blessed with bountiful beautiful mountains and people in this Jibhi shoja area are really helpful .
I stayed at The Pahadians in Ghiyagi Village , Jibhi , good property , nice people and cooperative staff. Vibe is really good . Plus it is situated between Jibhi and Shoja so it is easy to go on either side.
Places to visit :
Shoja Waterfall - 30min trekk
Raghupur fort trekk - 3 km , 1.5 km easy 1.5km moderate
Sajwar village - offbeat village , amazing place for star gazing .
Balu temple : Again 2 km walk not exactly trekk but views are amazing , meadows at end near temple.
Few tourist spots like :
Mini thailand , it's rocky structure looks a bit like Krabi , Thailand .
Jibhi Waterfall : Not exactly a waterfall , just a demo of waterfall .
For 1 day offbeat location I stayed at Seri Village and stayed at Avasa Cafe and Stay , Good food , Amazing views and Super Cooperative owner (Vibhu ). Must go if you want to explore an untouched valley . Peace at its best . And try to come down from locals trekk area , you will enjoy it .
In shangarh I stayed at Into the wild , Hiraeth. Nice property with good food and views.
If you are planning to visit this area , visit before it gets crowded.
Captured beautiful sunset from my window seat !!
Any F wants to join a trip to kasauli
from 10th night a week.
Dm for details.
covered a bit of everything, from the vibrant beach vibes in Seminyak and the dramatic coastal views of Nusa Penida, to island hopping over to the Gili Islands for some amazing scuba diving. I finished the trip in Ubud, where explored the lush Monkey Forest, dove deep into incredible traditional Indonesian food, and capped it all off with an unforgettable sunrise trek up the Mount Batur volcano. Easily one of the most diverse and beautiful places I’ve ever visited.
