For brown/dark complexion? Any suggestions?
For brown/dark complexion? Any suggestions?
So I joined a credit union and this week was my first. I moved to a different city in hopes that I get to work with my previous company in a business sector. I waited a month and a half but there were no roles available in my company so I moved on to a credit union. I joined and the hike is 15k over my last salary which is good. Everything is new so I feel like I am starting from scratch here.
I see my previous company put up posting for a hybrid role in my new city for which I waited 1.5 months. I am in a dilemma I want to apply for this because its my dream job the pay is even more than this one and I dont have to commute 40 mins to and fro everyday.
But because I just joined this credit union and a few people from my previous company and LinkedIn knows I joined I might ruin my reputation if I apply to my previous company.
What should I do!!!!
how has reading affected your personal growth?
This question is for everybody!! I always take up reading only for a few days out of excitement then I leave it to dust. I'm planning on incorporating reading atleast half hour during my lunch break to improve my personal skills. I want to know if reading actually made you smarter, speak well, and knowledgeable. What kind of books help? How has it helped you personally and when did you see the change?
Ps im in the banking sector and I would like to be well spoken and knowledgeable not just in banking but in overall terms. I want to be fluid when speaking general topics i know as the language goes its easier when you speak more but I feel like I am stuck in a pattern. I notice I reply in a very close ended answer instead of providing inputs or my inputs are always short and concise. It works in some situations but I am not a native speaker so it becomes difficult for me to have a conversation a nativespeaker would.
I think reading books will make me smarter. Why i think that is because when I was in college I took up reading and it helped me blog easier with fluent language with more story telling instead of being straightforward to the point.
Thanks!
