State Employment
I looked at some of the previous posts about this topic, and understand that hiring process varies widely based on the agency, etc., and more often than not takes forever regardless... however, I've applied for several jobs with the State of NC and have been encouraged to see my application status change to "referred to hiring manager" for one position in two locations and another position more recently, but it has been two months at this point since the first update.
Has anyone else had an experience where they were referred to hiring manager and not heard anything for over two months, but still got contacted for an interview? Has anyone ever been referred to hiring manager and just never heard anything at all? Any encouragement for continued patience or reality checks welcome.
