Hello, I had to take miso because in my SA done last week there was some stuff left, so the doctor gave me Miso to expel it or wait for my next period, (only miso). However, I put the 4 pills in the two and two cheek for 30 minutes and then I swallowed the rest about an hour ago but I still don't have any symptoms. Is this normal? Or do you think I could have taken the pills wrong?

Hello everyone, I have a big concern after having an SA procedure for a 6-week pregnancy.

It’s been 10 days, and I no longer had any symptoms—no pain, no bleeding, no breast tenderness, and no pregnancy symptoms. I decided to get a follow-up ultrasound just to make sure everything was okay and to ease my anxiety.

The results showed a very small amount of “stuff” on the ultrasound. According to the doctor, it is not related to pregnancy tissue but is probably a small part of the gestational sac that hasn’t passed yet. She said it’s nothing concerning and that my body will likely expel it with my next period. However, since it’s still there, she also offered me misoprostol to help expel it.

The issue is that I chose the SA procedure because I didn’t want to go through the experience of being at home alone dealing with pain and symptoms from the pills—it honestly scares me, and I was afraid something could go wrong.

Now I don’t know what to do. Has anyone else experienced something similar? Would you recommend waiting for my period to clear it naturally, or taking the medication?
