Might be an unpopular opinion, but I'd release Pooran and try to get him back cheaper.

He was our match winner and won us a lot of games. But we're paying ₹21 crore for the Pooran of today, not the Pooran of 2023.

Poor IPL season. Poor current form. Back-to-back slow innings in MLC. Another 20(19) today.

If Pooran went into the auction, does anyone really think he'd get ₹21 crore?

I don't.

He has already given up captaincy too, no way he's getting 27 cr just for batting. Trading him is unlikely he will enter auction most probably.
