I’ve been on metoprolol + midodrine for almost 2 years. in the past few months, I’m feeling like my symptoms are less and less controlled. my heart rate is spiking even walking now, when previously I would only get big spikes if I was doing heavy cardio. has this happened to anyone else? does it mean my pots is “worse” ?

at my (*dental*) appointment today, dentist notes POTS in my chart & asks “why am I hearing so much about that lately?” I don’t think he really wants an answer but I say “COVID 😐” he then says (condescendingly) “so you had COVID?”

BROTHER ALL OF US HAVE HAD COVID 😩 sorry the super contagious, mass-disabling virus is not a plausible enough explanation for you
