Love bombing but not wanting labels
I'm a guy in his late 20s and this is something I have noticed a lot in my dating life, l notice this pattern where a lot of women I date tend to love bomb a lot but never really want to commit to being in a relationship or wanting to use labels.
For example, I was dating a girl I met on hinge from October 2025 to January 2026 and really early on she was already saying that she loved me and calling me her soul mate. Being very love dovey all the time, wanting to make plans for the future. Towards January I asked if we were officially bf&gf and she told me she wanted to think about it and then a few days later she texted me and said she did not want to continue a relationship.
I just wonder....how do I avoid these situations? Because this the 3rd time this has happened to me and I just don't get why I keep getting stuck in this pattern.
