Brown Recluse Communications
Are there any bug scientists in the chat? I’ve had a brown recluse infestation since I moved into this house. Well, it was an infestation the first year. With Traps, sprays to manage food source and regular cleaning every other day the infestation has become more of a I don’t see you, you don’t see me situation. BUT over the past two years I have noticed a trend within my house of the brown recluses coming out in hordes on specific days. Again I do nt see them until there’s 5-6 on one trap. There will be days and days of nothing and then boom one day where every trap has tenants. I feel like I’m crazy for saying this but is communication going on? Pheromones? It’s just sooooo soooo odd how they all just move at one even thought they are solitary in nature.
