Jenny AirPod pro 3 not connecting

I bought the air pod pro 3 from the r Jenny link and the double tap on the case needed to connect to the phone isn’t working
Anyone know how to fix it?

I’m going to York this fall but I plan to transfer to a suny within 1-2 years but I’ve heard a lot about credits not being transferred between schools, if it means graduating late or needing to retake classes, I’ll just stay in York. Someone please give me the deets 🙏🫶
