I understand that some armor is front, back etc but does the game use the same hitbox for all the armor or does it actually matter where the armor visually covers?

The Z17 citadel is more expensive than the P40 despite the p40 having better reload stats. Is there something I’m missing here that makes the z17 more desirable?
