I have two accounts on Robinhood - one account has 10 stocks of MU at $230. The other has about 14 stocks of MU at 760. Should I have bought these 14 under the $230 average account. I feared it might actually increase my average and reduce my returns if I use the $230 avg account. What’s a good strategy if I want to buy more ?
I want to invest in a real estate and have come across a home 2 bed, 2 bath (\~6k lot size) in a suburb california, priced at 499k with VA fully assumable loan \~4-4.25%, 25 years left on loan. The home owner has defaulted 71k so far and the auction has been delayed until June.
I have been doing some analysis on this, and interested in buying. The area is decent, lot of families in the neighborhood are Army, law enforcements, retired. I want to rent this out after renovating the place (flooring, painting and other stuff etc.). Eventually,in a year or two, I’d like to build a 800-1000 sq ft ADU in the open lot.
How do I work this deal out? Is it negotiable? This is my first real estate investment, so trying to run this by the informed people to get an opinion or advice.
