My school uses square root curves and no weights on final grade.
I know both problems are probably the result for such a low pass rate. But I have heard that most AP Physics 1 teachers cannot format or teach the class in order to prepare them for the exam. (For example: one teacher crammed the last few units at the end of the semester, causing no time to review. Or one teacher never taught how to derive nor solve FRQs.)
I would like to know if these teachers are just a "few" or if most AP Physics teachers are like this, causing a low pass rate.
