Arriving late Sept for a postgrad course with a non-student partner

Hello!
I'm an international student from Mexico starting an LLM at Durham this September. My government scholarship was only confirmed a few weeks ago, so I couldn't accept the college accommodation offer when it came through, and I'm now trying to sort out housing very late in the game.

Two things are making it harder:
My partner is moving with me as a dependant and isn't a student, which has already got me turned down by several places.
I don't arrive in the UK until around 20 September, so viewing in person beforehand isn't an option.

I'd really appreciate any advice on:

- Letting agents or landlords in Durham who are used to couples where only one person is a student

- Any local Facebook groups or noticeboards that are actually used rather than full of scams

Thank you!! Any other advice is welcome

Ustinov College Accommodation - Durham University

Hello! I'm an international postgraduate student and I just got offered accommodation at Ustinov College. Does anyone have thoughts or experiences with this place? Trying to decide whether it's worth staying or if I should look into other options.

Recommendation! Please

If you've worked with someone on this sub and felt their reading was on point, I'd really appreciate you sharing who that was. Thank you!

Edit: paid reading

Family constellation session predicted I'd have a lot of money — curious how others might read this?

A few years ago my mom accidentally ended up at a family constellations session (it's a German therapeutic practice where people represent family members in a group, i know you must ). She told me the facilitator described aspects of our family that turned out to be surprisingly accurate, including things about my siblings and me. One of the things they said about me specifically was that I would have a lot of money in my life.

I'm curious about this from a witchcraft/divination perspective — has anyone had something similar come up in readings (tarot, pendulum, numerology, etc.)? What would you look for to "confirm" or explore this kind of prediction? Not asking for life advice, just curious what tools or methods people in this community use for this kind of thing.

Any recruiters that ACTUALLY work?

Hello,

I'm trying to find job opportunities abroad, i'm an industrial/TMS engineer with experience in supply chain and operations, looking to relocate (ideally Canada, Europe, US).

Has anyone here actually landed interviews or offers through a recruiter? If so, which ones? Especially interested in agencies that handle international candidates or have experience with work permits.

Alguien ha conseguido algún patrocinio de visa tn como abogado? Sé que es poco probable porque hay muchos abogados en estados unidos y aparte necesitarías pasar el bar, etc., pero me refiero en el aspecto de si eres asistente legal / paralegal.
