Went applying for traditional debt loans but only got offers for Debt relief programs.

I got talked into a debt relief program, Freedom Debt Relief is highly rated and said I'd be an easy client with high success rate because my debt is $14k and I offered 1k/month which gives them a lot of room to negotiate.

However, I don't really want to go into a negative state in order for this program to kick in so I'm thinking of just trying to negotiate on my own by asking if they can temporarily lower my apr for at least 6 months to a year? It would just be for my Capital one Savor and Chase Amazon card , What is the best way to approach these banks about my situation?

16k CC debt , I pay $1400/month towards the debt but spread out so interest eats up quite a lot (300~500?) .

My credit score is bad so I don't qualify for anything but debt relief which doesn't sound appealing since I'm not that desperate (yet).

The debt relief reps say I'm better off cutting off my relationships with the banks and rely more on cash. But to me a 15k~20k with no more than 15% apr @1400/month like I'm doing already would be so much better if I could just qualify for one..

Nissan service tech said they could put 285 on the rears but didn't recommend switching the front tire size of 255.

Can I go from 255/275 to 265/285 stagger setup on stock performance wheels?
