Oil change fail

Oil change fail

Had my car serviced by the dealership a week ago for an oil and diff fluid change. This evening, the car parked next to me needed a jump so popped the hood and find the oil fill cap sitting on the shroud (also the + terminal cover flipped up). Called the dealership right away and will be bringing the car in first thing in the morning.

Gotta imagine the only reasonable solution is a full change or even a flush, right? Not worried about the battery tab but just confused why that even needed to be flipped up for an oil change.

10k miles both changes (5k, 10k) performed by this dealership FWIW
