Should I move back to where I lived last year?
I lived in a different state with my ex last year. She cheated on me and I moved back home with my parents after we broke up because all of my friends and family are here. I needed a support network after a 5 year relationship ended. I’ve been here for 6 months now, and I can’t find a decent job. I wanted to try and make it work here, but the job market is terrible. I could potentially move back to where I was and get my old job back where I made really good money, but I don’t know anyone there. The other place also has great access to the outdoors which is one of my big passions. I’m just worried about doing it alone. I’m also worried that if I did it I would miss having friends and family close by just as much as I miss making good money and having access to nature. My brain would just switch the story and I’d be just as unhappy there maybe. I don’t know what to do.
