Demo Model Checking…return?

I just unboxed a GC demo example of this 2023 ‘50s LP Standard Quilted BB. As I was inspecting the gamble I noticed what I now know to be checking. I’m debating a return but curious about opinions here. It’s a gorgeous guitar otherwise and the sustain is fantastic. I got it at a 25% discount ($725 savings). Would I be silly to return it?
