If you're not boosting your TKO 65, you're missing out.
Hands down my favorite little amp. I love the idiosyncratic passive eq with the active presence, the bright and punch voicing filters, and that early 80's Black Widow speaker with the silver dustcap. But when you push it too hard, it gets a case of the toots.
I like practically everything I've plugged into this thing. And have tried quite a few drives on it. But I've never owned a straight up EQ pedal until I snagged an Ibanez BE10 in pristine condition. A halfway decent EQ pedal that operates quietly (if you're so inclined) and used in a specific way, really makes this amp roar. Like in a heraldic way. I want to put this shit on a coat of arms.
This is your PSA to get an EQ and try it with stuff.
