I’ve had a lot of trouble into this matchup from the Boros side and was just wondering what are affinity’s bad matchups? Usually the deck has some variance with mulligans but has multiple efficient gameplans (saga constructs, weapons manufacturing, emissary, kappa). I’m pretty much short of just including a Shatterstorm in the board for the matchup. I know the deck usually has a weak point in either emissary or weapons manufacturing but I’m finding myself in bad positions and completely out of tempo.

Just wanting to hear from affinity players on where /what matchups you struggle in

I use to play a lot of legacy between the release of eternal masters up until ikoria. Played all flavors of blue decks and combo decks back when I still played legacy. Unfortunately I sold a lot of my collection back during COVID and no longer have my duals. I recently came back to magic but mostly just play modern energy. I’m wanting to dip my toes back into the format but am wary about spending any amount to play a deck that’s basically the modern eldrazi stompy deck from 2017.
