Chainmail juggling cubes in action

Now that I have some daylight, here's a quick vid of the cubes I posted last night. You can see they have a nice little clink to them but they're still fairly quiet.

115g, ~2" to a side. The rings are all interconnected like a crystal structure (there's no loose rings inside), but they're loose enough that the cubes have a nice squishiness to them.

Buddy of mine just let me know there's a bunch of much better jugglers that meet at MIT, so I might run over there sometime to get some legit footage and opinions from them!

Chainmail juggling cubes complete!

A couple months ago I showed up pitching the idea of some chainmail juggling cubes done up in the classic 4-panel style. I got a bit side tracked, as one does, but I've finally just completed them!

Now, I just gotta learn something other than the 3 ball cascade xD

Little Chainmail "Moorish Rose" Patches

This month I have been crafting these little patches of "Moorish Rose", a chainmail weave with a tricky reputation. I'm actually using some dice and some mathy ideas to help bring them to life, and they're helping me to practice color blending and gradients and such. Found out they fit just perfect in these 4" canvases I picked up a while ago, so they look pretty solid up on the wall!
