AB Coaster Pre-Orders Live

Hello Atlas Earthlings! Around about a year ago, I made an AB inlay out of chainmail that now lives with our dear community manager, and I got to thinking: Why not a coaster? So I made one of those too!

I've had an idea for quite a while to make a batch of these to sell in order to buy some in-game AB with the proceeds so here's my pitch:

I am going to make a max of 25 of these coasters (depending on interest) for $60 a piece. I need at least 10 people to pre-order to go ahead with the full project, but I'd be willing to work something out with individuals if there just isn't the demand.

I have to cover the cost of my materials, but with what is left over, I'm going to buy an AB pack. As I place parcels, I'll make a note of what I get, and include a small keychain with the parcels your purchase enabled (See photo 3 for an example of the parcels I bought in January). Each coaster will enable about 10 parcels if I can sell the full 25 coasters.

For now, I really have to limit this to US Only so that shipping costs don't eat too much, but if you're outside the US and really want one, let's talk.

Lastly, I make a LOT of other chainmail things, so if the coaster doesn't interest you, but you're curious about something else (a few examples in the later slides), just let me know and we can talk separately.

SO what do you think? AB Coaster to rep your love of AE? If you're interested, please fill out this pre-order form, and I'll follow up later: https://forms.gle/BwTEVgsbtnUwMS1T6

Even if you're not interested, but you think this is a neat idea, please help me spread the word :D

Chainmail juggling cubes in action

Now that I have some daylight, here's a quick vid of the cubes I posted last night. You can see they have a nice little clink to them but they're still fairly quiet.

115g, ~2" to a side. The rings are all interconnected like a crystal structure (there's no loose rings inside), but they're loose enough that the cubes have a nice squishiness to them.

Buddy of mine just let me know there's a bunch of much better jugglers that meet at MIT, so I might run over there sometime to get some legit footage and opinions from them!

Chainmail juggling cubes complete!

A couple months ago I showed up pitching the idea of some chainmail juggling cubes done up in the classic 4-panel style. I got a bit side tracked, as one does, but I've finally just completed them!

Now, I just gotta learn something other than the 3 ball cascade xD

Little Chainmail "Moorish Rose" Patches

This month I have been crafting these little patches of "Moorish Rose", a chainmail weave with a tricky reputation. I'm actually using some dice and some mathy ideas to help bring them to life, and they're helping me to practice color blending and gradients and such. Found out they fit just perfect in these 4" canvases I picked up a while ago, so they look pretty solid up on the wall!
