How seal pom poms?
Made this fun ...whatver you want to call it...out of pom poms. Wondering what I can use to seal it - I realize I wont keep the texture but what clear coat would work?

since you liked my stitched ceramics in a previous post, here are some of the new pieces i’ve made
hope you like those too 😁
So I wanted to try an idea, and experimented a bit....this was the result
This is Hazel, she’s a mini Toad of the crochet variety, dressed in knit overalls with 3 tiny functional pockets (because how else will she carry all her trinkets?).
Shes very excited to finally have an outfit appropriate for stomping through gardens and forests, although she does need a little help reaching the flowers.
I crocheted Hazel using the crochet toad pattern by Claire garland, which I modified to have an open mouth to make her more expressive. Her knit overalls I designed. Her boots are 1/12 scale doll shoes. She stands a whopping 4 inches tall.
i’ve been looking into starting making beaded wall tapestries based off of crochet filet designs. i’ve been looking at inspo pics & i keep seeing a hanging option that looks like a bar that the top bead can slide into. i am trying to figure out the name of these so i can source them to use. also, if anyone has used these, what size beads usually work best? do round beads work? i added some photos to show what i’m talking about. thank you guys in advance! ⋆˚꩜。
edit:
to clarify, i want to buy the tracks to use. i am unsure what search terms to use to find them/dont know what they called.
Still, She Bloomed
Not because life was easy.
Not because the path was clear.
But because she refused to stop growing.
Still, She Bloomed is a tribute to every woman who has faced heartbreak, loss, change, self-doubt, or impossible odds—and chose to keep becoming herself.
I have this old t shirt that i really, really love, but it’s now so full of holes and it’s basically disintegrating at this point. Fixing it is not an option as this point because the fabric is so thin and fragile.
I don’t want to get rid of it as it has sentimental value to me, but i don’t know what to do with it. It is a very thin white t shirt and it has a large design on the front. I don’t want to do anything with it that would destroy the image on the front (no t shirt yarn etc.) and I would prefer it if was still usable in some form and not just displayed on a wall or something as i am autistic and it was a sensory safe item.
If anyone has any ideas for things to do with it would be greatly appreciated :)
Im a kindergarten teacher, kids voted to rename our class to spiders, now i need to change the decor. I dont want it to be too scary or too Halloween like.
Id appreciate any ideas, tips or even cartoons featuring spiders i could take inspo from. I thought i could take Soot Sprites from Spirited away and give them 8 legs but cant figure out how to incorporate it into actual decor.
I have a bunch of white, semi-sheer sheer curtains in the house that I just inherited. I've been thinking about whether or not I want to replace them and went looking for some ideas. I came across this image but I don't know the source of it.
I love the idea of this, and I think I can use the existing curtains . What is the best way to go about achieving this look? Should I use fabric paint? Should I try to sew a bunch of fabric pieces to the curtains? Should I use fabric glue? other ideas? TIA
Hello all you creative folks. I have a habit of buying random placemats to do crafts later on when they’re on sale I get them for as low as $.25 apiece all the way up to a dollar, but I never know what to do with them when I get home, these are really awesome paper crafted placemats. I’d like to make something with them, such as a wall hanging or a mobile piece of art anybody have any ideas? They perfectly match any wall in my house which is BoHo/cottage core.
i've inherited my families old car and my little sister is upset that i plan on washing off the window crayon drawings her and a friend did a few years ago. does anyone have some ideas on what i could do to preserve it?! (not keeping it soz 😭) was thinking spray paper with water and stick it on?? no clue 😓
I hope today is an OK day to ask. I love putting miniatures together, but I have a hard time with getting my glue to spread thin enough, especially for wood parts. Any advice? :(
Just finished my handmade Mandala cloisonné enamel bamboo coaster, sharing the full step-by-step crafting workflow here.
This coaster combines traditional Chinese intangible cultural heritage cloisonné craft with natural bamboo base. Carved grooves replace metal wires to outline the mandala lotus pattern, then colored mineral sand is filled layer by layer to create soft gradient color effects.
Deep blue background matched with golden floral outlines creates a peaceful oriental zen vibe, and it works perfectly as daily heat-resistant table coaster. The slow sand-filling crafting process is incredibly calming and therapeutic.
What patterns or color palettes should I try for my next coaster project?
Flawed in a number of ways but the pattern was complex and working thin leather is hard! Still really happy with it, as is the recipient.
I used to create resin and paper quill jewellery in college, then wanted to create something more elegant as my choices changed. I created the pink one for someone who wanted to attend a wedding and then created lots more.
What do you think about these?
