Only 1 Euploid. Feeling heartbroken
My husband and I are both 38. We got together at age 36 and just got married. We were not ready to start our family right away, and due to our age we decided to freeze our embryos. I have never had any endo or pcos or period irregularities at all. We are both very fit and healthy. I’m not aware of any infertility issues bc I have never tried to become pregnant. Due to all these factors we thought we would have a very successful outcome. Then I had a very moderate to low response. My AMH was 1.28. Only 10 eggs retrieved, 6 mature, 4 fertilized, 2 embryos, and only 1 Euploid. I’m feeling really heartbroken. I don’t understand what could have caused such a low outcome when we are healthy and never had any infertility issues. We paid out of pocket and can’t afford to do another cycle. Can anyone share success stories of conceiving naturally at this age after a low outcome?
