I recently left Allied because, well, the pay sucks and everyone there has all the enthusiasm and camaraderie of all the same cows going to the slaughter. I remembered they mentioned that if you don’t return your uniform you would be charged for it. I get that they want all their stuff that has AU logos on it, but I wondered why they wanted the pants back. They were Propper BDUs and even in the short time I was there they got pretty beat up around the cuff. I was flirting with offering them some cash for them as long as it wasn’t new prices, because they were pretty comfortable.

Get to the main office and the girl there acts like it’s a massive inconvenience to get me a form to fill out and like it’s common murder for me to ask for a receipt. She didn’t check them and gave me a copy of the paper I just filled out and said about ten words to me. I didn’t even bother asking about paying for them. I’ve never worked at a place that has so much disrespectful actions towards its staff. I should have just kept the damn pants. Anyone ever get charged for their uniform?
