Follow up post

So I posted last week about an incident that occurred at my last site. I called my am told her what happened. Last week she told me disregard my shifts and go to office to see her. I went to the office she didn’t fire me but the client wanted me removed which is understandable. My AM said she doesn’t have anything available right now but she’ll let me know when something opens up. How long should I wait before I start looking for other work and should I reach out to my AM to see if anything is available and how often? I have a business as well so I’m able to have some money coming in but it’s not enough to sustain myself for more than a month at most. How long do I wait to look for another job and how often should I call my AM to see if anything is available

Got hired????

Hey, so I have a little bit of a situation here I got hired about a a few days ago I filled out the consent drug test as well as the background check. I got an email back saying that was good and that’s all they needed for now since I have yet to hear anything. I tried calling Ally. They told me to call the branch. I tried calling the branch that’s near me and they have yet to answer the phone. I left them a message. Is there anybody I can email to get in contact with about this immediately?

Tips For Walk-In Interview

I'm getting prepared to drive to Allied Universal Headquarters in West Palm Beach in Florida for a Walk-InInterview cause online interviews suck ass. I got a nice suit and tie, I have 3 copies of a 2-page resume, I have my Class D Security License and Drivers License, and I have my high school transcript getting email to me (cause I can't find my diploma). Is there anything I'm missing or anything that could improve my chances of getting

Decided to post again because don't think I clarified

So my Account Manager messaged me the other day stating that he received message that he and I were to meet at the Branch. I asked him what it was about and he said they didnt tell him. Now I have been applying to multiple positions and have spoken to the hiring manager and regional recruiter. But if it was good or bad news couldn't they just email me? And why would my AM need to tag along? I dont think Ive done anything wrong. I have received a write up for leaving 5 minutes before clock out (all relief was there and signed in) and for not wearing a duty belt at night (unarmed) but now it has me wondering if I have done something that is fireable or worse. Am I overthinking this?

I'm a security guard who is planning on applying for technical support positions within the company

I currently work in the security guard position. I'm about to receive my Comptia A+ certification and plan on applying for a technical position within the same company. Are there still good benefits and experiences or would it be better to apply elsewhere?

Compliance and Investigations question

I am curious what it is like working for this part of Allied Universal? I have an interview next week and I want to get a feeling for the company and how the job is as a whole for someone new to this field. I would love pros and cons. I also live in Oregon if that helps as I know travel is apart of the job. I appreciate you all. <3

The contract we signed when being hired does it have a “separation agreement” which makes it so we can’t sue? I’m planning on suing allied. I have a strong case.

Removed from post yesterday without notice.Today I got reinstated back. What is going on???

Removed from schedule yesterday at the post I was in for 2 years with performance as given reason, and nothing else. However, they called me to work still today and that it is mandatory that I show up. They strongly dismissed my question in regards if I should deliver the remainder of my work clothes, now today as I show up, nor account manager nor supervisor showed up. Once I did my first tour, I checked my schedule randomly to find out I am reinstated back to my schedule.

I am beyond confused. Not only I was removed from the post I worked in 2 years without notice in text 1 hours prior to my shift starting, which means I had not made the money I was supposed to do out of nowhere on a fixed schedule, I was re-added without even a discussion, and now they are telling me they are doubtful to show up today to talk through things.

This is so stressing, the fact that they can remove on the fly and then re-add is so concerning as well, I seriously consider contacting HR or Ethics Hotline' as this is extremely unprofessonal and I think outright illegal. I have a lot of questions and extreme confusion.

Is the company really that bad ?

So yesterday I started my first shift with Allied. Pretty straight forward. Stand at the emergency exit for the MTA. I mean I feel like it’s just pretty straight forward. Close friend of mine said that he misses the benefits but that’s all and suggested I come to arrow after I’m done with Allied. Keep in mind I still have to work on my f01-4. Should I have done better research ?

Allied Seattle

I understand the constraints that you’re dealing with. Please know that my concerns are not with you. I appreciate everything you’re doing for us. However, this requirement of button up shirts, last minute, is ridiculous.

So, it’s my understanding that the basic, required wardrobe that is standard for Allied employees is not acceptable for this venue. Not only is this change last minute, it’s deplorable. It shows inadequacies beyond scope.

We employees are asked to present ourselves as a representative of not only our employer, but our city, state, and country. The fact that Allied Universal cannot do the same is embarrassing.

As the company has constantly stated, we are on the world stage. The fact that logistics as simple as laundry (before, during, and after a foreseeable holiday) have been overlooked is… unforgivable. I would expect the company to hold themselves to the high standard that they hope to project.

I Work fifa games what are the chances I keep my pay and hours when they are gone

I Knew something was fishy when they weren’t allowing people to schedule for august when fifa is gone so i’m predicting they slash the $22 a hour down to the $16.50 event rate (Im from Kansas city branch) and then they just expect everyone to quit

Is there any way possible I Can keep my $21/22 hourly rate? Has anyone else dealt with this or can give some advice because I’m just gonna quit and go to Securitas or Rockwell

Tell me I’m worrying too much…

I am a new officer that works weekends but I have been picking up shifts at a site near my house. At this site I have not had any training or contact with anyone apart from the lady I relieve. And my first shift sS with someone who told me he was getting fired the next day and wasn’t even supposed to be there that day. I don’t know how to audit the cameras which the post orders say I’m required to do, I don’t know any of the specific things that relate to this site and I can’t find anything to do other than sit here and stare at the cameras. When someone comes out and the alarm goes off I wond them because I saw the other person doing it. Just coming here to ask am i going to get in trouble for not knowing the right things to do? Or does allied just want a warm body in this seat and that’s what my training reflects? Thanks
