New hire

Just got hired by Allied and haven’t even met my supervisor or gotten my uniform yet, and he’s already talking about replacing/firing me.The issue is I couldn’t start training the same day I finished orientation because I work another full-time job. Before orientation I tried multiple times to contact the branch/site to avoid scheduling conflicts, but nobody ever responded. Now the supervisor keeps cutting me off whenever I try explaining the situation. What are the chances I could get transferred to another site this early instead of being dropped completely?

Sick time

I’ve been working for allied for 2 years now in Washington state and I get no sick time. My only time accrued is vacation time and that is unpaid. I’ve never gotten a PTO hour in my 2 years of working at the same site, has anyone else not gotten any sick hours? I currently have 93 hours of vacation time I haven’t used because it’s unpaid.

Do flex officers get consistent hours?

My DH was just offered a flex position at a hospital site in the Bay Area. Wondering if there is ever a case where flex officers get no shifts in a week? He really wants to work at least 20-30 hours (more if available).

The manager at the branch said he needed to fill 30 flex positions for this client (there are 2 hospital sites in neighboring towns). I’m assuming that means lots of shifts to fill.

Husband has 20+ years in security up to an account manger, but has been out of work for a while. Hoping this will be a way to ease back into things where he can manage his own schedule and sign up for shifts as he wants them. He is just a little worried about the no guaranteed hours piece.

FML...

Got a text last night that the Xray machine was sparking. The night guys followed the process notified the appropriate people.wrote the report. Get in this morning to facilities playing around the machine looking for the numbers. Can't find the numbers because there on the side that's against the wall. Then I find out the building has visters today here to do the security audit. Do they are breathing over our shoulder watching everything we are doing. Then my account managers shows up. At its craziest. Been in the office the clients for a while. So not my day..

Calling It quits

Let me first say I’m GRATEFUL for the opportunity.
I know what to do should things go left in life again .
However in my 5 months at my post i learned people are in competent n not take It personal. Within my first week i was asked to do an overnight n anytime there was a call out the site supervisor would blow up my phone regardless of me just going home and act clueless and say did i wake you !? Lol being a hard worker is just who i am however i quickly learned It worked against me when overtime became too expensive to the client . They hired someone soooooo mf fast and took forever just to bring me in . My last day was Sunday n the Friday prior i had a convo with the site supervisor where i double checked his work as i wasn’t paid for all my hours , we came onto the subject of union taking $70 and him saying is that a lot !? I laughed in his face n reminded him i only make $654 so hell yeah It was . I saw fear in the eyes when i told him i was leaving on Sunday . I watched through the camera as he paced back and forth in his office until 10:30 trying to replace me and call me asking for two weeks even if he didn’t find anyone ( declined the gaslighting ) this isn’t a bad job if you’re just starting out what freaked me out was reading on here about officers living in low income housing and honestly that scared me . Theres nothing wrong if this is all you’ve got if times are hard but please don’t give them your best , you deserve soooooo much better . I went to work in the middle of a snow storm for money n was told i could sleep on site as I’d be “safer “ keep in mind they don’t care about you at all . Find something better when It comes up . I saw people who had given up and just accepted this as their fate . I’m not speaking down on anyone but PLEASE give It another chance as soon as the market gets better ? Leave you deserve stability and not to be used and then thrown away as if you don’t matter . I went to toe to with both supervisors when they messed up my schedule and then blamed the “master Schedule “ , i double checked their work bc ive been a manager . I promise you as long as you can remain grounded and think ? You’ve got a way out . I feel happy when i see you guys post and speak about positive experiences bc you all deserve that . But don’t let this be all there is . You’re all amazing and I’m proud of all of you . Thank you to those who gave me advice when i really needed a place to work . I hope i haven’t offended anyone or hurt feelings , if i have ? DMs are open

Anyone else experiencing this ?

I’ve been employed for about 4 months and have repeatedly (ab 4 times already) experienced missing wages across multiple paychecks missing up to 20 hours. First shortage took 4 weeks to correct after it was due, causing all kinds of financial issues for me at the absolute worst time I even almost lost my car and the other I’m still waiting on 2 payments from 2 other messed up check after 4weeks once again. After continuing to raise payroll concerns recently, my manager removed me from the project I was scheduled on following a minor work mixup “he’ll ask around the office if anyone has a post for me” which usually means I won’t hear from him for probably atleast a week. I have documentation of the missing wages and text conversations and have spoken with HR but tbh this entire company is incompetent I’ve spoken with 3 different guards that all have had the same issues with payroll I’m having and now I’m wondering how many more people are there because this is not right and very illegal I have no idea how this has not been a lawsuit yet.

Anyone else scheduled dont appear when working a double ?

Sometimes instead of putting it as one block they will split it into two 8 hour shifts so when I clock out and try to clock back in it says no schedule to be found and I’m tired of having to keep calling to clock back in anyone know how to fix ?

Do I still have a job?

Hi, So i’m currently an Anchor Flex Officer for Allied. I have a set schedule on Fridays from 1500-2300. The rest of the week I pick up shifts at that same location or others nearby but it’s mainly the same location. I was scheduled to work Friday,Saturday,Sunday, and Tuesday when all of a sudden my schedule got wiped. Now I don’t have any days to work at that Site. I was not the only officer who had their schedule changed to 0 Hours.(There was 6 of us) I tried calling my account manager but no response and so did the others. The Site Supervisor quit as well. I am able to pick up shifts at different locations but did I get fired from my main location? How does this work?

Graveyard shifts are rough when it's every shift.

I don't mind occasional graveyards in a week but not every shift. I swapped with someone tonight and left a msg w my supervisor but no response from neither but I won't be safe to operate on 3-4 hrs sleep and another 12 hr graveyard without adjusting, I'm not complaining but I'm assuming the other dude will cover the shift. I'm not going in.

Am I getting terminated?

I’m filling in at a site- for 12 hours ot and this is my first time being there. I asked first thing in an at 7am what time do I go on break . The guard I relieved said “whenever I want”. A supervisor was there right in front of us and didn’t correct her, turns out you’re not supposed to leave the site on break. It was implied to me that we can leave but turns out I wasn’t supposed to. So I did and the manager called me saying I wasant supposed to leave so I got my lunch hand came right back. My coworker was there and witness it all and is vouching for me. I’m suspending pending investigation and out of work Monday and will find out what will happen then. They let me finish about 4 hours left of my shift-to completion thoughI been with em for almost 7 years since 2020. Do y’all think I’m fired? I never been in trouble with this company for so many years and to not even written up once. My manager of my site said it’s out of his hands and it had to go up the higher chain of command. He technically it’s still abandonment of post but I was told I could go on break. Wouldn’t that be fault of the supervisor on site for not correcting it? She didn’t even come around to show me my post orders or anything. I’m in a at will employment state which doesn’t seem good. Had to write a report to my manager this sites manager and a regional hr rep regarding what happened

Am I overstepping my boundaries

I’m honestly starting to feel really stressed about my job. Our team is tiny — just 9 guards — and I’ve already watched almost 8 people get replaced. Even the supervisor and the account manager who hired me are gone. The client is extremely strict and seems to replace guards without hesitation, so it’s hard not to shake the feeling that I might be next.

Trying to be proactive, I asked my new account manager if I could flex at a Level 2 site that my former account manager runs. He told me the other manager would reach out if they needed me. I said okay, but then asked how I’m supposed to flex there without Level 2 training.

He never replied.

Now I’m stuck wondering if it would be crossing a line to reach out to my former account manager directly and ask about getting the training. I don’t want to look like I’m going around my current manager, but I also don’t want to sit here doing nothing while everything feels so unstable.

I’m just trying to protect myself and move forward before the inevitable happens.

Allied Universal quite fired me for reporting racial discrimination by their client's employees

I am going to keep this story extremely short, for this hostile work environment dates back to 2024.

[Quite firing}
So recently in the month of April, i was Quiet fired without any true explanation by my supervisors. They first, removed me from the schedule for 2 weeks without any days of work (it showed that, i go back to work on the first of May), then on the second week (i was supposed to go back to work) I logged on eHub and saw i was completely taken off the schedule again. 3 minutes later i was automatically logged out of eHub and my credentials no longer worked, my supervisors then texted me saying "call me", i did not call them for i already knew what it was about.

[Origin]

So, in December 2025, there was an Louis Vuitton associate (she is a known Trump supporter) who had said "I would not let my daughter date a black man" "because i don't want her to be a single mother", I reported it to my supervisor, he then swept the entire situation under the rug and painted me to be the problem. And they committed Adverse Employment Change by altering my work schedule based on negative feedback the Louis Vuitton managers kept sending to my supervisors.

There was an Louis Vuitton associate who would also say to me "You got that colonizer blood in you", because i expressed to him that i am Bi-racial and have a white family.

I recently filed an EEOC.

Supervisor is threatening write ups for them messing up payroll

Came in today and I'll be honest I haven't really had any issues with my payroll since I started. But I know others have. Just not getting their overtime or stuff like that. It's always a debacle with the office. But I guess higher ups visited the office and we're pissed about all the payroll issues. Go figure it's the week they shorted me 12 hours. But they notified my immediate supervisor that if we don't let them know by Friday before our checks and there's issues with our checks then we will receive write ups. Which strikes me weird for why we are getting write ups for them messing up my checks I feel that they should go in a different direction there. But also we never can see our checks until the Monday before our checks drop. My gut is telling me this is all wrong and I don't know who to really report too if I even can and how I should go about it.
