I was given one of the dreaded Amazon humidors as a birthday gift. Figured I'd give it a shot and it actually keeps a good seal in addition to looking good on the shelf. I'm using a Govee hygrometer that's been salt calibrated to make sure nothing weird happens. Unfortunately, the two hygrometers that came with this house of glass seem to be about 10% off. The Govee reads 72% which tracks with the Boveda packs in there. The two budget hygrometers read 62%.

I've been searching for replacement hygrometers, but the TISFA website seems to be not in service. I can't find a part number or model off the hygrometers. And while I should be content just writing -10% on the damn things, I'm just way too OCD to let it go. So here I am on Reddit asking for help.

  1. Does anyone know of a trick to get these things back into calibration? There's no obvious calibration button or anything on them.

  2. I'm assuming these are just off the shelf hygrometers with a metal plate around it. Does anyone know who makes them or where I could get replacements?

Picture of the humidor. Stuffed Koala for scale.
