Has stress started feeling more physical than emotional for anyone else?
We’ve noticed that many people today describe stress less emotionally and more physically.
Things like:
- feeling mentally “wired” at night
- difficulty relaxing even when tired
- racing thoughts before sleep
- waking up feeling mentally exhausted
- constant restlessness during the day
Over time, conversations around stress and wellness seem to be shifting more toward nervous system health and mental recovery rather than just “feeling stressed.”
As a company working in the space of neuroscience-backed wellness and CES technology, we’ve been exploring how brain activity, stress responses, and relaxation are all closely connected.
One area we find especially interesting is how prolonged mental stimulation may affect the brain’s ability to properly slow down and recover.
Curious to hear from others here:
Do you think modern lifestyles are making it harder for people to mentally switch off and truly relax?
