I ran a single Gothic in a custom box at 800rms 2 ohms for years, "these cheap Walmart subs can take a beating" I had this extra box for my Buick laying around that I didn't think would fit in my trunk but it did. So I just ran to Walmart and picked up another Gothic.

Just FYI the stock car does not like 1 ohm loads even at 500watts, had to wire her up to 4ohm, 500wats, It likes it a lot better. Sadly the amp only does 500 at 4 ohms so I ordered another amp, so can do up to 1200 w at 4 ohms. Probably going to be a little bit conservative and running at 800 watts to be safe. She still slams. Anybody have any experience when doing the big three upgrades, specifically between the years 2008 and 11?
