I have had paranormal and NHI encounters since childhood starting with shadow beings. My mother had encounters too but my father said it was just our imaginations and would tease my mother about seeing the bogyman. I learned to keep my encounters to myself. Most of my earlier encounters with shadow beings were not intense. They would appear and then shortly after disappear. I also started encountering cryptid entities a little later on. The shadow beings seem shy but as I grew older I would see them longer, I also usually see them straight on. I do not fear them but think they are somehow connected to my other NHI/UAP encounters. I still see them now that I am retired. In 2021 I finally told my wife about my encounters and shortly after she started having encounters too and had seen several shadow beings and she has had other NHI encounters too. Has anyone else encountered shadow beings ?

M/69 years old and have had encounters since childhood. My first encounters with NHI beings was as a young child where I encountered shadow beings and a little later cryptids, I still encounter them. Shadow beings are considered to be interdimensional beings. I have had up close face to blackness encounters. I do not fear them and believe they are not a threat based on my history with them. I also encounter other beings, UAPs, orbs and more later in life. There is a lot of paranormal/NHI activity going on that most people do not realize or would believe without experiencing it for themselves. We are not alone.
