PTJ has consistently made it clear that there relationship is not the average father/Son relationship nor the average mentor/mentee through contrasting their dynamic with several other characters with the previously mentioned dynamics.

Some of you aren't ready to admit it, but that doesn't really matter since the story is the story.

What exactly this connection is? We don't know, but it's clear that it's not as simple as some of you are wishing and hoping it is.

This is just a post putting it out there. There are already a million posts and theories and counter arguments and counter-counter arguments. At the end of the day, the story is the story and the narrative beats are becoming clearer with each chapter. There's no point in arguing about it anymore.

Cope.

PTJ, GIVE JAMES A SYSTEM, UI, CONVICTION, LITERALLY ANYTHING SO I KNOW YOU DON'T HATE HIM

PTJ when it's time to give every other top tier multiple buffs and genes on top of their Path: 🏇🏼🏇🏼🏇🏼🏇🏼

PTJ when it's time to give James anything besides a Path and IA (which multiple people already have): 🚶🏻‍♂️🚶🏻‍♂️🚶🏻‍♂️

He'd be so disappointed.

Why? Just why PTJ? You show us someone who from the very beginning is implied to be the pinnacle of talent and everything. He apparently is even the "Genius of Acquisition/Learning", yet you make him so dumb he can't just JUMP out of the way? What even happened to him being absurdly fast and acrobatic? I don't want to hear a damn thing about Tom being the Fighting Genius, since James is supposed to be THE GENIUS that Elite personally raised.

There is just no excuse, during HFBD he avoids attacks in constrained situations. Even if the characters are far weaker than Tom he had even less space to maneuver yet still did. What was the damn point of spending hundreds of chapters making him avoid fights?

Red Hair James (post Cheonliang) would probably think current James is pitiful, even if current James is his prime. You have one dude who ended the first gen in a short timeframe and current James who has horrendously bad BIQ and is a donut.

I'm about to cry. PTJ you've ruined my week and my opinion of Current James. Peak James = Red Hair James. Even Pink hair and Cheonliang James is cooler than current James.

Even Korean fans think this is the only way James recovers from this😭

It's so over unless this happens

I like the acrobatics of James' main style of kicks but I'd really like to see him use other things as well. James has the narrative of being impossibly talented but for right now, we only hear about it rather than see his talent (with the exception of him in Cheonliang rapidly growing but that was years ago). His physique is perfect for many moves beyond just kicking.

I hope this fight he has with Tom isn't just speed mastery kick barrages and him jumping around. I want to see him use unexpected moves like aikido using his legs or some crazy shit.

Also, it'd be nice to understand more about James' body. We recently learned a bit about how crazy Kitaes body is so I think it'd be interesting to get more context on how James "perfected" himself after Cheonliang.

He's not done yet. Cope and seethe but he's narratively the most consistent character with the most consistent role. A lot of you are forgetting some very important things😹

Everything goes back to him.
