New Factory Level In DougDoug Rogulike

Been cooking up for a few days on this new level in my DougDoug roguelike. It's based on the twitch chat factories and it's pretty neat in my opinion.

The new bosses are:

  • The DougDoug BrickBrick MugMug
  • Fake Twitch Chat
  • A-Z Crew

It should be noted that I am working on a Pajama Sam Boss Fight as well as an intro cutscene and tutorial. Let it be known that I will be in the woods for the next week so don't expect any updates asides from some scheduled gameplay clips on my YouTube.

I'm starting to run dry of ideas so if you have any, share with the class and I will probably write it down.

Also if anyone knows how I can draw Bjorn the unicorn pls tell me how ts is harder than anything I've done for this game thus

TrugTrug Now In Fangame!!!!!!!!!

As promised a few days ago, TrugTrug has been added to my DougDoug fangame, Rosa quest 2026, as a boss battle.

In addition to this I did a lot of work on optimization, and working on a better enemy spawner.

The next thing on my checklist is to just work on the gameplay loop and make the game feel like a real project, not just a game jam. This mainly involves getting the story plotted out, making the hub area and building a tutorial. Now of course I still would like ideas for the project so if you have any DougDoug goofs that you want added, tell me and I will probably add it to the list!

napoleon boss fight

I'm working on a DougDoug roguelike, Rosa quest 2026 and I have now added Napoleon mid Russian campaign to the game. Why Russia? Because I could not draw Waterloo in my limited selection of colors.

I would also like to declare that the game will take the cult of the lamb approach to levels, where you must defeat the level four times before unlocking the final boss of the area. Rosa Quest most likely will not have four bosses per area and it will probably vary between 2 and 3 between areas.

Next up I plan to add Trug Trug and overall the hub area with NPCs since I've had a text system sitting around for a week.

If you have any ideas for the game tell me and there is a good chance will steal it and put it on the to do list

Feedback on new bossfight?

I made a new boss fight for my roguelike, its a robot that tells jokes, laughs at the jokes and physically manifests its laughs into bullets. Any suggestions/feedback?

DougDoug but it's a roguelike

footage from yesterday (nothing has really changed since and I don't feel like re-recording)

Hey y'all, I'm working on a roguelike based on the DougDoug cinematic universe. The past two years for Rosa's birthday I've created games for the art contest, and while those games, varied in quality, I felt like only giving myself a week to make those games was rather limiting. So this year I figured that I would just make something actually good on my own time.

So far the game has one area completed, although I feel that it needs more Doug-isms because aside from Rosa, Billy mays, Fat Owlbert and a planned section based on Dougemon, its lacking in DougDoug creations. so if you have any DougDoug characters you want me to add as enemies, bosses, NPCs, or areas, please tell me because I'm creatively bankrupt.

I do have plans for Twitch chat, the obsidian pillar, high demon Elgrim and Doug himself I just want to keep those secret.
