Is it ethical to keep consuming Japanese products after the latest news?

Their pm announced the creation of their own CIA in collab with Kash Patel which they haven’t had since the 40s.

I know a lot of us are fond of Japanese stuff but where is the threshold? Will you still be consuming Japanese products if they literally revived the empire tomorrow?

They surely are on fascist path.

I actually stopped consuming a lot of Hollywood stuff knowing their involvement in helping the US government in their horrible wars.

Where do we draw the line?

Here's the evils of NATO, France and liberalism: In Mayotte, a French island territory in the Indian Ocean, 77% of its population live under the poverty line and face many other crisis on multiple fronts

Mayotte has the highest poverty rate among French departments, with approximately 77% to 84% of the population living below the national poverty line. As one of the most disadvantaged parts of the European Union, residents face extreme poverty, widespread lack of running water, and high unemployment, often reliant on French aid.

Of course France doesn't give a shit about Mayotte. It's full of black people. Imagine if the population was of fairer skin tone, that wouldn't stand.

And that's why countries like Burkina Faso decided to break free from France. All this aid amounted for shit. It's just a way for the french to keep Mayotte dependent and poor.

How's that for virtuous Europe? We need to call out Europe more for their blatant disregard of their own populations.

So we talk about North Korean defectors, what about American and western defectors?

These people can claim they love their country, so why the f are they in Asia in places like Thailand and Vietnam?

Every time someone says North Korea is bad because people are leaving, I will always bring up the stat of Americans and other westerners leaving their homes.

Last year, 180000 Americans left their country to live abroad. That's a huge number.

Americans are lucky to have a strong passport so they can live anywhere they want. I don't blame them for leaving. No one wants to live in an environment where they're struggling to survive but at the same time they must realise the immense privilege they have over other people of the world. People in the global south cannot afford to leave easily due to lack of resources AND weak passports.

Your average African has to save up several months of salary just to apply for a visa for a country abroad. They don't have visa-free access like Americans.

People can claim to lofty ideals but the reason people move out is due to almost always poverty, not politics.

If that many people are leaving the USA, then the richest capitalist country is performing as badly as one of the poorest communist countries out there.

That should shut the anti-communists up.
