Gray Death Legion Mechs

Put together a few lances with vehicle support in the Gray Death Legion mercenary colour scheme. Hope it makes the Colonel proud!

Hello all,

So I love using AI to run tabletop roleplaying games for me as the player and the ai serving as the gamemaster. I used to use Claude Opus for it but it recently turned into a crap fest for quality. I am seeking alternatives and took my first baby steps into using an API and Chattica.

I decided on NanoGPT to use the GLM and Gemini 2.5 pro models for ttrpg roleplaying but I had a few questions:

  1. I have set up and linked my NanoGPT API key to Chattica. Most ttrpgs require using rulebooks and the like and I am hard to the project files and gem system of Claude and Gemini respectively. Is there anywhere in Chattica and/or NanoGPT to set this up and store the files I want referenced?

  2. If so, what would be a good prompt to use to have the AI reference and use these files? Any suggestions on how to get it to run the ttrpg with only canonical setting sources, adhering strictly to the rule set and never taking agency with my player character?

  3. What are the best models to use in NanoGPT with a subscription?

  4. What prompts would work best to describe the mood, themes and genre of the ttrpg I want to use?

I'm very new to all this but learn fast so I really do appreciate the assistance and any resources you may share.

Any other tips and suggestions on getting this set up for tabletop roleplaying games like Vampire the Masquerade and Mechwarrior are appreciated. Thanks!

Hi there,

So, I use Claude for running roleplaying games for myself since I'm often the storyteller and want to be a player for once. I've been using the Vampire the Masquerade ttrpg with a simplified character sheet, a project with all the relevant books needed, a running plot summary document, new chats when they get full and writing instructions on how to run the game etc. I've been doing this a while so I have a lot of the tips and tricks in place.

I've been using Opus 4.6 since 4.7 dropped and before that, 4.5 was doing great. 4.6 was a step up from that for a while but suddenly in the last few days, 4.6 is forgetting facts about the story, confusing characters and otherwise hallucinating to all hell that it essentially ruins the whole game.

Did they lobotimize 4.6 or something? Sonnet isn't that much better. Any suggestions or ideas on how to fix this or alternatives would be most appreciated.

Thanks.
