Woman walks alone at night to her car (maybe with groceries). It was raining outside i believe and it was dark out. The movie looked to be in 70s style (cant remember it was black and white or not). It was american though.

She gets in, lights a cigarette, and adjusts the rear‑view mirror.

A mobster‑looking man in a fedora rises from the backseat and wraps a rope/garrote around her neck from behind.

She struggles and tries to press the horn with her high heels, but the parking lot is empty and no one hears.

He strangles her to death inside the car. There used to be a YouTube video of this scene, but i think it's been deleted a while.
