Like a Stream Deck for AI prompts and Code — no hardware required [Mac + iOS, TestFlight]

Like a Stream Deck for AI prompts and Code — no hardware required [Mac + iOS, TestFlight]

Thanks in advance. Looking for some testers on an app I'm building called VibeDeck, a Mac + iPhone launcher for the AI prompts and Code snippets you keep reaching for. Build 9 just cleared TestFlight Beta App Review and the global hotkey is finally working, so opening the beta back up.

The problem (prompt sprawl): if you use Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or whatever else seriously, you've probably got prompts scattered across old conversations you scroll back through, a "prompts" note in Apple Notes, a chaotic Notion doc, screenshots friends sent you, and a fair amount of just-retype-it-from-memory. I was doing this 30+ times a day.

The fix: press ⌘⇧V from anywhere on Mac → a 3×3 deck of your most-used prompts pops up → tap a card or press ⌘1–9 → it copies to your clipboard → paste wherever. Folders for organizing by context (Engineering, Writing, etc.). iCloud syncs between your Mac and iPhone — your data never touches my servers, because there are no servers. It's an iCloud-only app.

What's new since the last post:

  • Mac Catalyst build approved (4-day Beta App Review wait, finally)
  • Global ⌘⇧V hotkey works system-wide via a tiny background helper
  • 3×3 grid (was 4×2 — felt cramped)
  • Folder-identity colors that propagate to the cards
  • Light/dark mode polish

Free, no signup, no ads, no telemetry. Looking for more testers. The feedback I find most useful: what made you actually keep using it vs. close it after one session, what's missing, what's awkward.

Indie dev, solo project. Replies welcome.

Quick reintro for folks who caught the early post — I'm building VibeDeck, a Mac + iPhone launcher for the AI prompts you keep reaching for. Build 10 just cleared TestFlight Beta App Review and the global hotkey is finally working, so opening the beta back up.

Built a small app for people who paste prompts into Claude / ChatGPT / Gemini all day. Instead of digging through a Notes doc or a Notion page, your prompts live as cards in a launcher. Tap one → it's on your clipboard. That's the whole loop. Yes. Like StreamDeck. I'm never at my desk and for some people $200 is a lot of money.

What's in it:

  • Cards organized into folders, color-coded per folder
  • Variables: a prompt with {name} or {project} opens a fill-in sheet, substitutes the values, copies the result
  • Pin your most-used prompts to the top of any folder
  • Holds format for code.
  • Recent view auto-tracks what you've copied lately
  • iCloud sync between Mac and iPhone (Phone Coming Soon)— your data lives on your account, nothing routes through a server I run
  • Cross-folder search
  • Mac and iPhone, free, no account, no analytics

Looking for testers who'll actually use it for a week and report what breaks or annoys you. It's v1, so expect some rough edges, especially around CloudKit timing.

If you want in:

  • Mac (Apple Silicon, macOS 13+): [your Mac TestFlight public link]

I'm the developer (solo) and will be in the comments. Honest feedback is the only thing I'm asking for in return.

I should have approval soon to test. Please let me know if you want to test it.
