Random Stranger Took a Photo/Video of my License Plate, Do I Need to Do Something?
I was at the Whole Foods off Fairfax/Santa Monica Blvd and as I was leaving the parking lot this dude with a Glittered “X” was recording my license plate from the back trunk. By the time I pulled to the exit to Fairfax he jogged up to get a better photo/video. I just immediately took the right turn.
Has this ever happened to someone here? If I did something wrong and I was trynna do a hit-and-run yeah get my info but as far as I can tell this dude was getting my license plate for no reason. Cared enough to jog ahead as I left.
Can this be used against me in any way. Is there any malicious reason my license plate # can be used against me? Just racking my brain for why someone would do that and if any preventative measures can be used if someone is getting that info for any bad intent or to hurt my privacy.
