Food for thought_5 Jul 2026

Good to be back after a few days to see some crazy posts! I have glanced through a few, and thought of putting out this for the benefit of the kids!

(a) Folks talk a lot about preferences. Take inputs from others but don't get influenced by that. Ensure you make a well informed decision on the institution for you (based on the availability for your rank).

(b) Stop asking questions on placements / PhD abroad from different IISERs and trying to compare from the very little data available here. NOT all (including me) are fully-informed in all respects.

(c) In my view, kids should not worry about what after 5 years of BS-MS now, if you have identified as a researcher material (and not interested in Engg or Med). Things will fall in place, as long as you do justice to your seat in the specific Institution (IISER in this case).

(d) What is in your hands: Grab the best (in your perception) that comes your way. Do justice to that selection by doing well academically, ensuring that it is a WIN-WIN for both you & the institution. This requires a good navigation skill that every kid needs to develop & keep on improving!

(e) Spend the next one or two weeks meaningfully going through the IISER pages (All), and the specific IISERs of your choice (or the only options) with special eyes to understand the specific programs, faculty stream, facility / amenities, research domains, research projects, research collaborations (india/global), students (current final year project BS/MS & PhD) for a good awareness of the system.

You are expected to do this on a regular basis to be abreast of things for smoothly navigating towards your academic / research pursuits!

Spend your next two "crucial" weeks meaningfully*, if you are truly up for a research career. Stop asking unnecessary questions & move on with what you get!*

I reiterate, don't be too choosy, don't think of a drop-year*!* Grab what comes your way & do justice to that. Remember - we are in a VUCA world*!*

Happy Sunday! Stay tuned.

Food for Thought_Pre-counselling_Trigger

Friends,

Some of you were asking very emphatically why the heck I collected the rank vs marks data from the student fraternity & what's the use those equations that were generated with the data!

Well, they are of no use as equations or raw numbers. But, once you see them in one place one should get some good insights. Remember, these numbers alone won't facilitate prediction of cut-offs. Some trends can be picked from these numbers, and that can help predicting the cut-off trends for various categories, with the other allied assumptions viz., no of students staying away from counselling (beyond a specific score) & those dropping of due to other options (% acceptance).

Here you go! I put out the raw numbers of 2025 & 2026 for your eyes with some color coding for the sharp folks to decipher something! I would encourage like minded folks interested in numbers to discuss & come out with your views. Initially, I wanted to share only the first table. On a second thought, I decided to put out the second table as well, which can be leveraged by you for your analysis.

There were minor bugs in 2026 EWS / OBC-NCL data (due to wrong usage of the empirical equation). Fixed now. Many thanks u/Auquie for the alert.

https://preview.redd.it/2h8oqpsgknah1.png?width=1557&format=png&auto=webp&s=e6d8e7bff6ab9adce664b2d13c055738332682c3

I look forwarded to get educated by you, with your observations, critical analyses & hypothesis. Remember that there were easily about 2500+ folks that were chasing only BHO B.Tech last year. This year that is unlikely to be the scenario! (Wish I am wrong with my view on this for the ranks to move close to last year).

Till sunday noon I will be on a busi(y)ness travel, hence there shall be no posts (as I will not have access to the data in my personal laptop!). As I get updates in mobile, there will be a response, but might be delayed! Responses to DMs will come only on Sunday! Thanks for your understanding!

PS: If there are any discrepancies / flaws found in numbers or even my thought process (which some of you could decipher by looking at the data) please feel free to fire your views! Let us work together to discuss only the right things for the benefit of the IAT kids in this forum! :-D

IAT-2026_Data_Mapping_Overall Picture_Path forward

Friends,

I draw your attention to my post on 28 Jun (Sunday)!

https://www.reddit.com/r/IATtards/s/VbvmiPjWk1

(a) to (d) are on dot. Hope (e) goes on as speculated! We will have a good chunk of data to chew & analyse immediately after the first round offering & the close of R1. Interesting days ahead.

In the meantime, I just put out the Mark vs. Rank equations for your consumption / verification. CRL remains unperturbed. Added EWS, OBC-NCL, SC & ST. While EWS & OBC-NCL may have a decent convergence, SC & ST may have some deviation as the data set is very very limited. (Only 13 for SC & only 4 for ST, out of 196).

https://preview.redd.it/sxkq343e3gah1.png?width=494&format=png&auto=webp&s=1ef597d93644e79ad270aa253149f705a106efb0

The Google Form that I floated has been CLOSED a few mins ago. Many thanks to all those 198 who have provided the data, including one mischievous fellow who put 240 marks & Rank 1. If that gentleman/lady has truly scored 240 & Ranked 1, I would love to meet him/her and offer a cup of very nice filter coffee prepared by me! :-D

IAT-2026_Raw data_First cut information

Buddies,

A much better data set than last year. Many thanks to those 155 kids that have shared the data. Would be good if some of you could cross check the validity of the equations (rank vs marks) below: X = Overall Rank (GEN). This has been done only for the overall category, and the rest will come tomorrow.

The marks will be within +/- 0.8 max. (plus or minus 0.8) for 99.5% of the cases. Some minor deviations are possible for that 0.5% case due to the plausible inaccuracy in the data received!

The numbers look very interesting! Hope to decipher more in the next few days before the commencement of counselling.

IAT Results_1st Round of Counselling_Calming down the kids!

Hello IISER Aspirants!

I liked the thought process of the first guy who initiated the talent (rather latent talent) posts. Some are truly brilliant & I love a few, in particular, for the skills!

I hate the kids discussing internship, job prospects etc., at this point here. Rather you guys should seriously discuss the curriculum, campus life, networking, extra-curricular activities etc, to remain meaningful in this lean period!

It was a relaxed Sunday for me, with some official work till noon. On a second thought I decided to post - what I would call the "On-set phase"!

While you guys are anxiously / nervously waiting for the results, I expect the following sequence to happen (based on last year's experience):

(a) Release of final key (before 30 June)

(b) Release of rank list on the same day of release of final key (before 30 June)

(c) Announcement of REGISTRATION for counselling by the eligible candidates (Before 3 Jul)

(d) Closure of REGISTRATION (before 10 Jul). Hopefully, the registration deadline is NOT extended beyond 10 Jul.

(e) Release of First round counselling offers (Around 20 July) with 4-5 days for accepting the offers. Remember JoSAA counselling last round will be over by 24 Jul.

(f) Second, Third, Fourth & Fifth (if needed) Round of counselling offers will be released with a gap of 3-4 days after the completion of each round.

(g) Don't speculate to see more rounds this year, as the awareness & competition is getting stiffer.

I don't see a big competition coming from IIT/NIT/IIIT aspirants as many would have frozen their plans with JoSAA ending by 24 Jul - when IISER counselling officially likely to begin! Of course, NEET folks would be in the race, but that numbers would be insignificant.

Expect a strong presence of 1st & 2nd droppers, as they passionately chase IISERs.

Remember, admissions to HEIs is a PROCESS. It will take its own time. Have patience! Stay calm all the time.

Finally, keep in mind, all IISERs are the same (refer my last post on GBU)! Don't be too choosy to decide to become a year-dropper. Year-drop is absolutely a pain to the individual / family. You not only increase the competition to the next year kids, but you too stress yourself unnecessarily!

On a different note, I have already hosted the IAT-2026_Mark_Rank google form here but not yet PUBLISHED!

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1hhG98M_Fea-BDcCuKEreAgDN4_EHC0dsxFLITurD-1M/edit?pli=1

Access will be given to this on the day of release of results!

Have a good week ahead, my young friends!

General Gyan_Views of personal

As the results of IAT-2026 are getting consolidated for release by JAC, I am tempted to post this "General Gyan" based on whatever little I have been taught by many over the years, more so whatever fraction that I had picked from those  interactions with folks across age / disciplines & countries.

Disclaimers :

(a) Views expressed are personal.  Nothing to do with my affiliation(s), present or past!

(b) No one is compelled to take all these writings as such, and I would encourage you kids to ponder over the points carefully, getting to know the ground reality in your own way.

(c) Some of the views for or against the academic system / institutions / academic fraternity / administrators are not intended to hurt anyone.  Just my understanding of the system is put out as a whole!

Points to ponder

(a) No institution is great & no institution is bad.  G(ood)-B(ad)-U(gly) - all there, everywhere - in different proportions!

(b) Age of an institution certainly has a value but age alone is not going to do anything great for the student fraternity unless the system is in good shape in all respects.

(b) Don't believe ranks alone to pick an institution.  Ranks are decided by many metrics, and all institutions including the IITs are in the rat race, unfortunately.

(d) Don't look at placement as a big metric at the end of a 4-year degree. B.Tech is no more a degree for the ones that aspire for an ambitious career.

(e) Not all the institutions have good faculty / infrastructure /  administration - I mean both private & government.  The Indian academic system has degraded over the years significantly - more so post Covid, the decline in the quality of education is alarming. I say this with a heavy heart, feeling sad for the entire academic fraternity, but unfortunately no one is bothered!

(f) So, (e) being the case, it all depends on the individuals - you student fraternity, to raise the bar with determination & motivation to learn the subjects of your interest and pursue a career.  Today's world is all vitamin "M" for many. Alas, it is a loss to humanity!

Some views on IISERs

(a) Are all IISERs the same?  No & Yes.   Why No first?  Because, some IISERs got initiated early! The faculty stream is more mature / time tested / experienced & the system is well established.  Does it mean all old IISERs are great in all respects?  I would ask you to do a very serious introspection.  G-B-U everywhere!

(b) Do IISERs attract highly qualified faculty members these days with both research & teaching credentials / credibility? Yes & No.  G-B-U everywhere.

(c) Are all the faculty members highly motivated to teach subjects the full 40 or 50 stipulated hours for a course, genuinely making an effort to make it go to the slow learners of the class (on that subject) - (I hate to use this phrase, but for a better reach I am using - Please excuse me for that). Genuine answer is YES, but 20-30%.  Rest all.......G-B-U everywhere!

(d) Connecting (c) to the students.  Are all students genuinely interested in learning?  Do they ask questions?  Tough questions?  Question the Unquestionable should be the motto of a student.  Do they really do that today?  Honestly NO, but yes in some places by some!  G-B-U everywhere.

Specific gyan

(a) Institutions are just platforms.  Teachers are facilitators.  Students must be the ones that should spread their wings to fly & grab what they need for their life.

(b) Don't expect every faculty member to be a great "teacher" in the classroom to feed you everything!  Most of the faculty members are trained researchers, and not all will have the same flair for classroom teaching.

(c) Don't judge the faculty members by their classroom teaching or based on their command over language (English).  There are many great teachers that offer the best to the kids one-on-one or in small groups.  Figure it out & extract the best out of them.

If you are passionate about a specific domain and "iff" you are convinced that you would do well, then don't worry about the institution.  All are the same (in many respects) and G-B-U everywhere.

The bottomline is

Chase what you like. Don't take a drop year unless you are so bloody desperate for a specific program.  Stay calm always!  Care for others, in every possible opportunity!

NEST_Some additional data_Generic thoughts

N(B)EST Friends!

My yesterday's speculative post triggered some folks. I wanted to revisit the content and come back with some new info.

(a) I agree that my assumption of 50% acceptance rate is too high.

(b) I had putout the last post cut-off numbers only for the 200 seats in NISER and did not account for the 61 seats in UM-DAE CEBS.

Considering both the above as potential flaws in the "speculation" (prediction was corrected to speculation in the last post yesterday itself) that I made, I wanted to do some justice by digging the 2025 data & do a quick comparison of trends (rank). In 2025 the marks were not displayed. Even in 2026 the mark calculation is very strange, not sure how they reported fractions! Anyways, that's not my interest.

Looking at the table below, where I tried to map apple-to-apple up to UR Rank 1000, the trend for UR, OBC, ST & JK remains very similar. The competition for SC is slightly high for SC this year.

As a whole, though the folks are jumping high on some "inflation" of marks, (b) first of all, we are not sure how these marks with fraction are calculated and (b) despite the "perceived" mark inflation, the ranks remain the more or less in order, for respective level of seats for every category.

So, it all depends on how many would prefer NISER or UM-DAE CEBS over JoSAA (IIT/NIT), medicine and IISERs! As I have not tracked this admission before, let me remain neutral without making any speculative cut-offs for categories & simply leave it to the "expert-kids" to decipher!

All the best to all the NISER & UM-DAE CEBS aspirants!

NEST-Cut-off_All Categories

Friends,

I haven't touched NEST so far. Today, Mr u/IllApartment2959, a cool buddy of mine here, had triggered me with a gold-mine data of NEST available in the open domain, which otherwise I would have missed, rather I should say would have even ignored.

So, here is the extract from the raw data from NEST-2026!

Total qualified candidates (MERIT List) : 3163

Top score: 160.4 (Rank 1); Lowest score : 45.2 (Rank 3163)

https://preview.redd.it/cxqpgseob99h1.png?width=820&format=png&auto=webp&s=70e8fe3ae3332c5f4e6746d67c94ffc0054a0e6d

Here is the compilation of critical information from the entire data set & a potential cut-off mark prediction speculation for UR, OBC, SC, ST & JK. I have not explicitly given the ranks for DIV in respective categories (5%), but one can always figure it out! The top row numbers totalling to 200 are the seats available in NISER!

Just to be lucid for novice kids, the likely cut-off numbers are (assuming ~50% acceptance rate):

UR : ~118 ; OBC: ~108; SC: ~90; ST : ~70; JK : ~108

As some "learned folks" comment that the numbers above are inflated, I just submit it is my view. However, I wish I am completely wrong for the benefit of the aspiring kids!

IAT-2026_Applicants_Raw data_RTI

Many thanks to the person who filed an RTI & put out these numbers* in the public domain.

**The candidates appeared in the exam is my assumption : 80% of the total applicants.

A tight race looks evident. GEN & GEN-EWS have roughly 3 times & 2 times higher competition than OBC-NCL or SC category. Even the competition in the ST category looks very healthy!

Remember, there are good number of first / second droppers! I guess they are chasing the seats passionately, and I expect a minimum of 20% of seats likely to be grabbed by them! I added this paragraph for the folks to understand the ground reality!

Interesting days ahead! Stay warm! Drink more coconut water! :-D

Heads-up

Friends,

The time is 22:20 h. Just less than 95 minutes for the closure of the window for the upload of documents. Hope this deadline is NOT extended and the next stages are kick started without any further delay!

I am sure that all of you would have done with that, peacefully. Alert your (lazy) friend(s), if any, on the deadline to ensure that they are in the race with you! :-D

Jokes apart, "The phase" is beginning only now. We hope to see the FINAL answer KEY released by JAC by tomorrow or latest by 23 Jun & the rank list before 25 Jun.

Am sure the Re-NEET kiddos would by then know their position & make up their mind to be in the fay for IISERs or not.

I shall be floating a google form to take your inputs for the analysis to support you during counselling. Hope to have a good / enthusiastic response from your guys, that will help me get a good data set to come up with some meaningful inputs to you ALL.

The google form will be posted on the day of release of RANK LIST.

Stay-tuned, buddies!

Thought for the day_2

I visit this page twice a day just to witness the happenings, more so with an optimism that one day I would see some enriching dialogues on the programs / people / positives / possibilities / path-forward in IISERs. Alas! I end up seeing hopium, copium, fear mongering posts - with little or no sense of real meaningful analysis of what is around us.

Let me start this rant with an advice. Folks : Start looking at things differently & look at the world with positivity & optimism. No excess on either side. Period.

The trigger for my post is this post:
https://www.reddit.com/r/IATtards/comments/1u7zkl3/why_i_think_this_years_iat_cutoff_may_drop_my/

While I appreciate u/ScallionSevere1096 for his efforts in penning this down, I wanted to tone-down the level of hopium with some facts for the folks to stay grounded without getting carried away!

(a) Tougher paper than last year

What is tough to someone could be very tough or easy to someone. That set of someone who found it easy or not so tough fall in the category of folks that are keen to grab the seat if offered, the theory of cut-off (marks) falling down will disappear.

Remember, in 2023 or 2024 or even 2025, the exams were taken by freshers. IAT was not known to many. This year, take it from me, there are at least 5000+ folks that would have taken IAT with a chase towards their passion as year drop. Not to scare anyone, many of the first or second droppers would have done well (as I see from my interactions). So, "cut-off mark drops" might be a mirage. Being a fellow hopium guy, (optimum level), I wish I am proved wrong - but..... !

(b) New institutes joined & some IISERs have increased seats

IACS (80) & IITG (20) have been there earlier too. IIEST has only 20 seats from IAT. These are insignificant considering the overall picture.

TPT has reduced the seats by 100 (350 to 250). MOH increased by 5 seats. Overall, the number remains more or less the same 2343 as against 2363 in 2025 - No increase is the message.

(c) Re-NEET factor : It would be insignificant is my humble view. Again, I wish I am proved wrong for the benefit IAT aspirants!

(d) NEST - It is a different beast altogether, the total seats 202 (NISER) + 59 (UM-DAE CEBS). Even if you think this 261 are quitting IISERs, they contribute to ~10% seats. My guesstimate is 2-3% guys will leave IISERs and take up NEST based seats.

(e) Increased awareness

This is critical, and I would spin this a bit different from what was given in that post. NO undue credits should go to folks that run business with students (troubling the parents' economy). Awareness has increased due to SoMe. Folks look for alternative options to explore, and IISERs are certainly in their eyes & minds, as not only it is an opportunity for those who are genuinely interested in research, but also due to fact that this education is subsidized compared to the bloody 3-4 LPA engineering admissions & 10-25 LPA medicine admissions in many private institutions / univ.

So, the competition has come, to stay for long, as long as the kids / parents see the current IISERites doing well in their chosen field in the next 5-10 years. So, it is better not to underestimate the kids that are interested in engineering / medicine taking IAT as back-up. I know a few kids that have given up medicine (government seat in highly reputed med college in south) & IIT Hyd/ IIT (Roorkee) to take up Bio/Physics & Chemistry in 2025, 2024 (before that I did not have any traction on IAT).

To cut the long story short, hopium is good, but anything in excess is dangerous! World's best hopium leader / dealer u/snoochickens994, a good friend of mine, is around here and am sure he would endorse my views (and not beat me)! :-P

Bottomline message for you guys for the next one week:

(a) Stop talking about cut-off predictions. don't add stress/anxiety to you & to the world!

(b) Start interactions at some basic intellectual level, asking about the programs, professors & options in all iisers. Some of you even volunteer to go through the profile of faulty in specific IISERs of your choice & discuss what you think as strengths & positives. No need to talk anything adverse. Put on the table only the positives, the kids are smart to decipher!

(c) Eat well. Sleep well. Hang out with friends. Explore nature. Once you are into institutions you life is in to another 3- or 4- or 5-year hectic mechanical loop. Recreate & Rejuvenate before you face the music in Higher Education Institutions! Get ready to face the G-B-U, that's the ground reality!

(d) Help others & enrich your life!

Hope the long post did not pain you!

Even if had pained, I am fine! :-D

Thanks again Mr u/ScallionSevere1096 for creating this opportunity. :-P

Thought for the day!

https://www.reddit.com/r/IATtards/comments/1u76i4c/was_the_category_rank_for_obcncl_3680_at_101/

The above post made me to post this.

(a) Enough data is available in the open space for folks to chew. There is no need to trouble the community with posts that attract folks, to (mis)lead the other folks to the state of chaos!

(c) Peacefully complete the process of upload of documents and go into hibernation, which will be good for you!

(c) Let the Re-NEET folks focus on the exam this weekend. Let the JoSSA guys get their admission done & go into celebration.

(d) Those chase only the IISERs must go into the eat-sleep-eat-sleep cycle with some entertainment in between. No way you will change your mark or rank, that has already been frozen on 7 Jun.

(e) It is more likely the final-key will be out around 24 Jun (plus - minus 2 days), and that the rank list too in the same time frame.

The ranks & marks of 2026 can be discussed then after my post (which I will do by taking some "numbers" from you guys).

Any further rant on IAT-2025 data is absolutely meaningless! Let us debate only the IAT-2026 numbers, soon!

IISER_Admission_End-to-End Notices_2025

Buddies!

The JoSSA counselling has begun yesterday. Re-NEET is happening on 21 Jun. Central Univs will start the admissions through CUET by early July (I guess)

The declaration of IAT results / release of rank list is likely by the June end. Hence, it is important that you guys have the planning done property for you to end up in the right place you want, even in case the first choice option is falling-out of your hands.

I have compiled the IAT-2025 end-to-end process timeline with dates from the IISER Admissions page for your quick reference & guidance. You may download the document from the link below with access to everyone:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EbTjxjXmF7IZ0IsQvhmjIFyyStTD4K4m/view?usp=sharing

Just to ground you, IAT process is a bit time consuming - typically 2 months minimum. Also, the process may be pedaled a bit faster or dragged down (this is typically the case), depending on the NEET / JoSSA & other counselling schedules / outcomes.

Be patient / stay calm. Irrespective of your score / rank, register for counselling. Just be an observer to await the outcomes & grab the seat that comes your way.

Best wishes!

Gentle Advice!

Kiddos,

I see that the rant on the "IAT cut-off prediction" is a bit intense in this sub, and the folks are getting restless.

Let me tell you, last year I got 52 (FIFTY TWO) data points from 2025 aspirants for my request to provide marks vs ranks. Here is the screenshot (which I am putting out in public for the first time).

https://preview.redd.it/f6scdqr6av6h1.png?width=1795&format=png&auto=webp&s=a5d5e1722cd222650cd740ad2b12fd3be23c8e51

Based on the limited available data, I built some empirical models to understand the marks / ranks for GEN, GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL & SC (very small) and was analyzing the trends doing some prediction every round during counselling. You can search for Food for Thought (FFT) in Reddit in my timeline to see more and a sample post is below in which the prediction was GEN cut-off rank would go to 10000!

https://www.reddit.com/r/IATtards/s/pnoMDG5jU0

I encourage you to spend (waste) some time reading some of the FFT posts to understand the usefulness of doing a critical analysis than to do astrological predictions! :-D

All of you have given your best (I hope so) in the IAT and other exams, and waiting to grab the offer(s) to decide. I suggest you guys simply chill out, eating the sumptuous home food (thank your mother or father or sister - or whoever makes the food for you), and get mentally prepare yourself for the college / university / institution stint.

Life is much bigger than colleges / academics & achievements. You all will taste success, for sure, in one or the other path in life.

Stay healthy & cheerful!

Just one word. Be ready to see a very healthy competition!

Don't merely move on with upvote/downvote. Analyze the trends, share your views & make your friends to share the data for such exercises that would benefit you!

IAT-2026_Post-exam_Survey_Analysis_Part 2

Friends,

The RESPONSE to the post-exam survey has slowed down drastically, hence I decided to disclose the poll results one day ahead of the schedule!

Here are some disclaimers:

(a) The data set used in this analysis is very very small. Hence, don't try to predict anything concrete from this analysis, also due to the fact that there could be some mischievous data from some playful kids.

(b) The above does not account for category information.

(c) Having said the above, I still strongly feel that there are a few obvious trends viz., (a) first droppers staying strong in the race, meaning that they would not leave the seats if offered; (b) BTech (Only) chasers are not significant in this small set - which might remain true in the larger case (my belief); (c) There is close to 20-25% of folks that are very particular on joining specific IISERs and a nearly equal number of students ~20% would prefer medicine over IISERs, opening up the avenue for some lower ranked folks.

(d) Not restricting the specific choice of IISERs as in (c) above, there are about 113 kids with claimed scores above 110, preferring only a few select institutes and not keen on the race for other IISERs. This (d) is good for many, and would help in keeping the inflation low (I hope).

I post the charts as is extracted from the poll below, which are self explanatory. The last two charts with specific numbers for all combined, freshers, first & second droppers and also the "choosy kids" indicate clearly there is going to be a healthy competition!

I halt here for time being. I will get back on the day of release of rank-list with a similar but different questionnaire to do a more focused analysis on the potential trends & likely cut-off scores in the first two or three rounds & beyond.

IAT-2026_Post-exam_Survey_Analysis

Buddies,

This data (#247) is of 22:30 h today. This post is made at 22:50 h, and the current count is 262.

Key inferences:

(a) Interesting to see that nearly 50:50 of freshers & droppers (combined).

(b) Unlike last year, only <5% of the students have Bhopal BTech as their only option. Last year the cut-off rank was high due many Bhopal BTech aspirants dropping-off the race.

(c) Only 68 out of 247 claim to score <100, which means more than 70% are likely to score above 100. More than 50% claim to score above 120. 4 students are hoping to get > 200.

The above data set is very limited. However, some interesting trends are already available. I leave it to you guys to analyze the charts. I will come with more insights as the students share their data. I will close the poll by Tuesday 0800 pm & share the consolidated report with my inputs.

IAT-2026_Post-exam_Survey

Buddies!

I indicated that I would post a survey at 0900 pm, keeping in mind the release of IAT-2026 answer key around 0800 pm. Now that it has been already released and that most of you might have checked it, I share a google form to get your inputs for a few questions.

https://forms.gle/jsHk3gyFzi8eXDUt9

Please note the following:

(a) None of of your personal details asked in this form viz., name, gender, email ID etc.

(b) Intent of this exercise is to collate some key data / information that might be helpful in analyzing the potential competition.

I would encourage you to be honest / candid so that the analysis also becomes a reliable one! Please ask all those you know to participate so that the dataset is good enough for a meaningful documentation.

Appreciate the support of the MODs of this sub for this analysis & also after the release of the rank list in a week or two from now.

Thanks.
