Need help wiring nest 4 thermostat

Hi all ! Recently purchased a nest 4 thermostat to replace my old one.

I have central electric heating air duct forced furnace + heat pump cooling outside.

I used to have a Emerson 1f80 and when I put heating mode with 3-4 degrees higher than room temperature the furnace would kick in stage 2 heating and it warmed the house really fast.

There was a physical jumper between RC and RH

And w1 and w2/aux on my old thermostat

I installed the nest 4 yesterday with the white going w1, no heating at night and this morning I tried the white in w2/aux and no heating as well.

I did not physically jump the RC to RH on the nest because I listened to chatgpt and I didn't want to break the new nest 4 by jumping wires.

What should I do ?
