Ok so kind of a silly question, but I'm a fan of Jimmy Buffett and I've been wanting to make a fun "margarita" for my dogs because they absolutely love a bit of frozen fruit or broth as a summer treat, obviously no alcohol for them (they're not even 21, 😜).

Currently Im thinking of doing either​ frozen then blended chicken/bone broth, or blended frozen fruit, and instead of a lime wedge, one of their chewy treats, but the salt part is a roadblock for me, I don't know what will be dog safe and also stick to the rim of a cup.

Any suggestions?

My current vehicle is slowly but surely inching towards being on her last legs, so I'm starting research on what the best replacement will be when I finally have to get a new car.

I'm looking to get a decent condition used car, and use it for car camping with my dog. My first thought was to get a minivan and just take out the back seats when I'm traveling​, but would love to hear suggestions from others folks who car camp.

What kind of car do you drive, and what have been your experiences/pros and cons of that car? Things like space for sleeping/storage, ability to handle muddy/gravel roads, etc.

I have a friend who has severe allergies to eggs and dairy, and we're planning a camping trip. My family has always cooked over the campfire with our cast iron skillet, but I'm unsure if it's safe to use the same one for my friend with allergies since we of course cooked eggs in it many times.

Do I need to buy a brand new skillet, or is there a way to make this one safe? Or if not this one, a different used one? They're often available for so cheap at thrift stores in my area, so if I'd need to mess up my mom's pride and joy camping skillet to make it allergy-safe, I'd prefer to buy a "new" used one instead.

I'm seeing conflicting information on Google and it's hard to tell what is real and what is nonsense, especially with so much AI that isn't trustworthy 😞.

I recently started a job doing field work, and I absolutely love it. Its hot and sweaty and sometimes miserable and I've never felt more fulfilled than after a long day collecting data.

That said, I'm having trouble handling my period on our long days in the field. I never know exactly where I'll be working before starting the day, so I never know if I'll have access to a bathroom or not. I'm also the only woman on my team, so I feel weird asking "hey can we make sure we prioritize the transects that will have us near a bathroom today so I don't bleed everywhere?".

Would love any suggestions from others who have dealt with this issue. So far I've found that the washable menstrual underwear are the least horrible option for me, but they get quite sweaty and if my period is heavy that day its pretty miserable. I also have joint issues when Im on my period, which make my hips really sore.

I just started a new job, and it involves a lot of field work. My team aside from me is all men, so I'm a little concerned about managing the daily work when I'm on my period. I don't want to disrupt our workday by needing to change a pad or tampon, but I also can't exactly be out in the field bleeding for 8 hours straight. I've heard birth control can reduce/stop your period, but is there a version that would actually do so (relatively) soon? If it's going to make my period even heavier for a few months and then stop it, that's not feasible unfortunately.
