desperately calling on the fashionistas to help me! the first pic is my maid of honor dress, and i need a cover to wear with it. i am pretty particular with what i’m looking for, so i included photos of two different styles i’m trying to find. the first one i like but i want a version that shows off the entire front of the dress and just covers the collarbone instead of coming further down the torso. the second one i also think could work, but i refuse to buy from shein and am having trouble finding a similar one from a better source. i’m also open to more traditional cape types, but these two options would be my top choices first. i think i like a silky/chiffon fabric but the sheer/mesh could be cool too. any detectives that want to help me look, or suggestions for a rabbit hole to explore would be super appreciated! (i also need a nude COMFY heel for this dress, it’s ankle length so they can’t be hideous) thank u reddit

this photo is from inside the storage part of my couch; the past few weeks, i have seen one or two crawling on the couch cushion each day, and feared opening the storage part to see an infestation. thankfully it wasn’t a total nightmare, but 3 in one spot is not a nice feeling! there’s two in the right side of the photo and one on the yellow substance in the bottom left. the yellow substance is advion roach poison because it’s all i have at the moment.

i live in new york city, so even in the cleanest apartments roaches are unfortunately just a part of life. however, i’m used to seeing baby roaches that look different from this (larger than these in the photo, lighter brown, slightly shiny, kind of flat, with what appears to be a transparent midsection and noticeable antennas).

these ones i’m seeing now are about the size of a sesame seed, darker brown, possibly with darker stripes (it’s hard to tell because they’re so small) and i think i saw one of them fly? i’ve seen a few in the shower/bathroom windowsill as well. i can’t discern antenna or number of legs, they just sort of look like little ovals, kind of rounded almost like a roly poly type of shape? as opposed to the other baby roaches i’ve seen which are more flat and you can see the legs and antennas.

i suspected baby roaches but maybe of a different kind than what i’ve seen before, but i’m not seeing larger roaches around, so i’m not sure! or are these the even younger versions of the baby roaches i’ve seen near my sink in the past? i’m stumped because (thankfully) i’m not seeing larger roaches which i would expect if there have been a bunch of babies around. they don’t appear to bite although the few times i had one on me i noticed right away so maybe they would bite if given the chance. 99% sure they’re not bedbugs because i’ve unfortunately also had that experience in the past and these look pretty different.

Hi everyone! A place I stayed recently had this hand soap, and it’s exactly the perfume/cologne scent I’d love to wear! The brand is Baylis & Harding, scent is oud, cedar, and amber, with extracts of oregano and lemon. I checked the brand’s website, and they make lotion and body scrub, but neither one is scented strong enough to replicate using it as a perfume/cologne alternative. I know there are many perfume options out there that use a combination of oud, cedar, and amber, but I’m ideally on the hunt for something that’s as close/exact to this as possible. I did also post in r/perfumes, but trying to cast a wide net on this question since it’s a tough one to google. I’d take other subreddit suggestions to try if you have ideas! Thanks for your help :)
