I'm finally pulling the trigger on a massive 98" screen upgrade, moving away from an old 55" Samsung TV. I've run into a unique local deal where I can get both the TCL 98X11K and the newer TCL 98C8L for the exact same price: €3200.

Because the price is tied, I'm struggling to decide which direction to go. My use case is incredibly straight forward

90% Movies: Mostly watched on a dedicated physical 4K player (HDR/Dolby Vision).
