Hi everyone,

I’m looking at buying a semi rural home and am researching areas. I’ll be checking out Brockville in a couple of weeks and wanted the opinions of some locals.

How is the culture, community, health care, restaurants, beauty, vibe, safety, etc? If I moved to the area I would likely only come in a couple times a month for a day/evening out, errands, etc but would like to enjoy the town.

A couple years ago I stayed at the BEST site in Killbear. It backed onto forest, had a washroom right next door and was a quick walk to the beach. I’m trying to find a similar site. Any ideas? TIA!

I’m here for the weekend and wondering g if there are any restaurants that have fires in backyard areas, or another public spot for a fire? Not a fire I build…just one I can show up to. TIA!
