Dilemma at work

I work at a tea shop where we both sell lose leaf tea, as well as brew tea for customers to have in the shop. The device we use for credit cards is set to automatically show a tip screen after a transaction. When people order a tea to drink, the price of the drink is more than double the cost of the tea leaves, so the majority of the transaction is already going to service. I feel like it doesn't make any sense to ask for a tip when the customer already payed a lot for the service just a second ago, so I startted skipping the tip screen as soon as it came up. My coworkers noticed me doing this and became upset with me because the tips are shared and they got less because of what I've been doing. I feel strony that the tip prompt isn't good for business, but I also feel bad making my coworkers get less money even though they don't share my beliefs on tipping. What should I do?
